Tane bears the brunt of Mac’s anger

After the tragic loss of her baby, Mac is released from the hospital. She rushes to her room and shuts herself away, leaving Ziggy worried that she isn’t dealing with the recent tragedy properly.

Tane makes an impression on Ziggy by continuing to look for legitimate work after abandoning criminal activity. Tane’s return to Salt is suggested by Ziggy, but Mac refuses to consider it.

Mac also warns Ziggy that she’s not comfortable with seeing Tane around the house so often. It seems that Tane is bearing the brunt of Mac’s unresolved issues with Ari.

Mac suffers a shock collapse

As Mac’s situation worsens, she decides to return to work in the hopes of diverting her attention away from her problems. Ziggy is concerned that she is moving too quickly, especially since her doctors have advised her to rest as much as possible.

Ari notices Mac at the restaurant and approaches her to speak with her, oblivious to her recent loss. Mac abruptly ends the conversation, leaving Ari frustrated that she can’t seem to get along with him.

Soon afterwards, Mac collapses. Tane and Ziggy have to swoop in to help her get back to the hospital.

Willow makes contact with Alex

Amber is still meddling in Willow’s love life, convinced that her friend needs to reconcile with Alex. Willow admits that she was hurt when Alex left the Bay, but it’s unclear whether she’s willing to try again.

Amber keeps harping on the subject and snooping on Alex’s social media. Willow decides to call Alex and reopen the lines of communication after Amber’s investigation reveals that she is still single.

Willow leaves Summer Bay

After speaking with Alex, Willow makes the life-altering decision to travel to Queensland in order to reconcile with her. Dean and Bella are disappointed to lose another member of their Mangrove River family, but they eventually give Willow their blessing to leave.

Willow’s friends are overcome with emotion as she says her goodbyes and departs from Summer Bay. After more than three years on the show, Sarah Roberts, who played Willow, is leaving.

Lewis receives some bad news

Following the death of another patient at the hospital, Christian’s family requested an autopsy to determine what had happened. When the results come back clear of any wrongdoing, Christian is relieved.

Lewis is enraged by the news, as his desperate attempt to fire Christian appears to be failing. Lewis’ obsession with Christian worries Jasmine, especially when he talks about making his foe pay.

Christian is arrested

Christian approaches Lewis at work and asks if their differences can be put aside. Lewis is adamant that Christian’s presence at the hospital will lead to more negligence and deaths, and he refuses to make peace. Lewis, on the other hand, is the one who is secretly murdering patients.

While the hospital’s investigations have cleared Christian, scheming Lewis tries a new tactic by filing a police report accusing him of assault in connection with the recent punching incident.

Following Lewis’s decision, Christian is arrested, and he is shocked to learn that he could face two years in prison as a result of his violent outburst.

The story intrigues the Coastal News reporter, particularly the details of how John was duped by Susie. The journalist is given John’s phone number by Roo and Alf so that he can provide a quote.

Despite the fact that John does not respond to the request, his involvement in the incident makes the news. When the article portrays John as a gullible fool for trusting Susie, he is embarrassed.

John makes a life-changing decision

John feels responsible for the trail of destruction that Susie left in her wake. He approaches Justin and Leah with an idea to sell his house and use the proceeds to pay them back for the money that Susie stole.

Justin and Leah appreciate the generous offer but turn John down, pointing out that they made their own independent decision to trust Susie and they don’t blame him for it.

Later, John confides in Marilyn about how the Palmer house still holds too many bad memories for him. He decides that selling up is still his best option.

Dean and Amber discuss having more children

After she jokingly mentions having more children in the future, Amber suspects Dean is freaking out. She tells him not to worry because she’s content with what they have, but Dean clarifies that he’d like to marry and have another child someday.

Amber does not want to commit to having more children in the future, so the couple appears to be on different pages. Dean is relieved when Amber says she won’t completely dismiss the idea, only that it’s a “maybe.”

Nikau and Bella’s patience is pushed too far

Nikau surprises Bella by informing her that he has reserved a weekend getaway for the two of them at a remote countryside cabin. It’s the perfect getaway for them, as they’ve struggled to find any alone time since Ryder and Chloe started dating and wanted to double-date all the time.

The tensions between the foursome descend into a prank war, as Nikau and Bella try to convince Ryder and Chloe that a dangerous stranger has been stalking the cabin.
