Next week on EastEnders, after breaking up with Kat, Phil is given an ultimatum, Gray is forced to make a decision about baby Jordan, and Bailey plays matchmaker.
Here’s a rundown of all the major events coming up:
Stuart finally gets answers
Stuart faces his fears next week when he learns about his breast cancer diagnosis and the next steps.
Stuart is given an explanation of the surgery by the doctor, who wants to get started as soon as possible. Stuart, on the other hand, panics when pain medication is mentioned, and he later tells Mick that he feels like he’s being punished for his past.
Phil breaks up with Kat
Jean interrogates Kat about Phil’s sentence, but Kat is confident that his feelings will remain unchanged.
Kat secretly puts her phone on silent to spend some alone time with Phil, but he becomes enraged when he sees missed calls later and loses his cool.
Jean steps in and reminds Phil of Kat’s love for him, prompting him to make a heartbreaking decision. Phil breaks up with Kat after apologizing to her for his earlier outburst, unable to tell her the truth about his sentence.
Mick continues to help Janine
Mick tells Janine she needs to prove she’s a good mother, but she’s hurt after yet another rejection from Scarlett.
Mick, wanting to assist Janine, takes matters into his own hands and gives Scarlett a special gift, which he pretends was the brainchild of her mother. Will this be enough to persuade her to change her mind?
Bailey hatches a plan
Bailey notices Karen and Mitch arguing about their sleeping arrangements and devises a strategy.
Karen complains to Bailey about a roof problem, and Bailey is relieved that her plan is working when Mitch receives a surprise delivery.
When a second package for Karen arrives, Keegan and Mitch quickly realize Bailey is behind it.
Sharon gives Phil an ultimatum
While Kat is still reeling from her abrupt breakup with Phil, Jean is enraged when he refuses to explain his change of heart.
Sharon is skeptical when she hears the news and becomes determined to figure out what’s really wrong.
As Sharon continues to put pressure on Phil, he admits that he is facing the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison. Sharon notices that Phil hasn’t told Kat and gives him an ultimatum: tell her or she’ll tell her.
Ben has a disturbing flashback
Next week, Ben takes a step forward by telling his husband Callum how he’s been feeling.
Ben and Callum discuss their problems and promise to support one another. Is Ballum’s situation improving?
Later, Callum visits Ben, who is experiencing a vivid flashback to the attack.
Gray continues to manipulate Chelsea
Chelsea, who is suffering from depression, will be prescribed antidepressants by her doctor next week, leaving her upset that she will no longer be able to breastfeed her baby.
Gray pretends to agree while silently fuming, while Denise is unwavering in her support.
Later, he plays on Chelsea’s emotions, convincing her to forego the medication in order to continue breastfeeding. Whitney speaks to Chelsea after seeing her throw her meds in the trash and realizes Gray’s grip on her is tighter than ever.
Kheerat tries to get Gray to confess
Still determined to assist, Kheerat informs a concerned Whitney that he has arranged for Chelsea and Jordan to live in a flat.
Kheerat also arranges for Chelsea to have a spa day at the salon to encourage her to spend time with her family. To keep Gray away, he asks Denise to make sure it’s from her and gives Gray a ride to the hospital.
Kheerat tries everything he can to persuade Gray to confess at the hospital, and he almost succeeds, but the doctor interrupts them.
Gray has to make a big decision
Next week, while visiting Jordan with Kheerat, Gray has a rare moment of regret.
He tells Kheerat that he believes he deserves what has happened, and Kheerat thinks he’s on the verge of confessing – until the doctor interrupts them again.
Gray is being asked to make a big decision about baby Jordan this time, but what is it? And what will he do about it?
Harvey and Dana make an exit plan
Harvey informs Jack that he and Dana will be leaving Walford soon, claiming his mother is ill.
Harvey later reminds Dana that their landlord is also a cop, and they’ll be evicted if he finds out about Aaron. Dana is adamant that she does not want to leave, despite Harvey’s concerns.
Peter makes a discovery about Dana
Dana is adamant that she does not want to leave Walford, and she calls Peter sick after sharing an awkward moment with Bobby.
Dana then forgets to hang up the phone, causing Peter to overhear her conversation with Mila and Kioni…
Martin tells Stacey the truth
Stacey gets ready for her first day as a market inspector, while Martin tells Sharon that he declined the position.
As a determined Stacey struggles to grasp the role, she lashes out at Billy and Martin for attempting to assist her.
Stacey can’t help but poke fun at Martin, asking if he’s envious of her. When he admits that he was the one who turned down the job first, she’s taken aback.
Mitch is given renewed hope
Mitch speaks to his daughter after realizing Bailey was attempting to play matchmaker, explaining that she cannot force him and Karen to fall in love.
Karen flirts with the delivery man again, oblivious to Mitch and Bailey’s presence. They assume Karen is gushing over Mitch and get their hopes up, but have they been dealt the wrong hand?
