Ned fights temptation and Toadie’s big secret is out.
This week on Ramsay Street, we say our goodbyes to Brent Colefax (Texas Watterston), whose departure leaves girlfriend Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) heartbroken, and Amy Greenwood (Jacinta Stapleton) makes enemies upon her unexpected return.
Also, who has betrayed Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney), and Ned Willis (Ben Hall) is forced to confront his forbidden feelings?
When his plan to frame Brent is discovered by an unimpressed Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) is forced to ask Holden Brice (Toby Derrick) to tell the cops the truth: that he, not the corrupted Colefax lad, was the mastermind of the gang’s criminal activities.
Holden knows he has all the cards and will not make it easy for Moneybags to back out of their deal, so it’s easier said than done…
Brent realizes he can’t stay in Erinsborough once he’s exonerated, so he takes a new, more disciplined path and announces he’ll be joining the army.
Harlow is devastated by his departure, and there will not be a dry eye in the house as the young lovers say their goodbyes. Is this Brent’s final appearance? Will Paul come to regret dispatching the reformed bad boy?
Hello (again) Amy
The Flamingo Bar is a big deal – it even has a spot in the new opening credits – so running it is a huge accomplishment.
Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) had her heart set on becoming the manager, but she found out this week that someone else had beaten her to it: Amy!
Minxy is a character in the film Minxy Ms. Greenwood returns to town, ready to take over the beach-themed bar, and Roxy is irritated.
Terese suggests that she sees Amy as a mentor, someone from whom she can learn rather than be envious. That’s not going to happen, as the blonde bombshells collide quickly. At dawn, it’ll be cocktail umbrellas…
Ned’s naughty admission
Amy’s return could be awkward for Yashvi Rebecchi (Olivia Junker), who dated her father while her parents were briefly separated, though we doubt Vi will raise an eyebrow because the cop is too preoccupied to notice her fella is getting dangerously close to another woman.
Ned is still smitten by Sheila C (Shareena Clanton), and when the two share another charged moment of attraction, he makes a shocking admission. Ned tries to focus on his love for Yashvi in order to bury his attraction to another woman. How long will he be able to resist temptation?
Toadie’s big betrayal
Toadie and Melanie Pearson (Lucinda Cowden) finally decide to go public after weeks of sneaking around (and far too much unnecessary “naughty kitten” role play for our liking). They’re worried it’ll change their exciting, no-strings-attached chemistry, but after talking it over, they decide to go for it.
Toad suffers a professional setback after resolving his love life when he is dropped from the lucrative Carmelo case because someone has reported him for having an inappropriate relationship with a coworker! The lawyer, like the audience, is left open-mouthed as the snitch’s identity is revealed…
Elsewhere on Neighbours
Levi Canning (Richie Morris) believes that he and Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson) have triumphed over their recent difficulties, and he begins to make grand plans for their future.
Bea, on the other hand, is having serious doubts and is too afraid to admit it.
Sheila C (yes, the woman who is attempting to steal someone else’s man) advises the befuddled mechanic that she only got with Levi because he helped her sort her head out after the Finn fiasco. Is the relationship over now that she’s found closure?
This week, iconic eatery Harold’s Cafe unveils a makeover designed by new boss Nicolette Stone (Charlotte Chimes).
The expectant mother is overjoyed that her (other) baby is on the way, though Yashvi’s lack of enthusiasm for her mother’s beloved business takes the wind out of her sails. It’s impossible to please everyone.
