Alina Pop of Coronation Street just moved back to Weatherfield with her small son Dorin, but she has decided to leave again in order to keep her child safe.
Alina Pop has fled Weatherfield in order to protect the safety of her young son Dorin in a shock Coronation Street twist. She recently returned to the cobbles after bumping into former love rival Fiz Dobbs (Jennie Mcalpine) in a car park.
It soon later revealed that Fiz’s husband Tyrone (Alan Halsall) was the father of Alina’s son, Dorin. Fans of the ITV soap remember recall that Tyrone and Alina were romantically involved a few years ago, and before Alina departed, sheinsisted she wasn’t pregnant.
However, In her final scene before her exit, viewers saw her at the airport departure lounge, tenderly holding her growing baby bump. Fast forward three years and Tyrone is keen to play a role in their son’s life, but Alina has plans to return to Romania.
However, in a concerning development, she has begun receiving threatening phone calls, suggesting that the traffickers may be attempting to intimidate her ahead of the court date.
During Friday’s (August 23) episode, Fiz was worried that Tyrone spending time with Alina could reignite their passion. As Alina arrived at No.9 with Dorin she explained to Tyrone that she feared she’s being watched.
As Alina readied herself for court, she was confronted by the thug from the hotel bar who barged into her room, threatening Alina against giving evidence.
The altercation left the young women petrified and she decided to go into hiding and to temporarily leave Dorin with Tyrone and Fiz in a bid to keep him safe. Will Dorin’s arrival cause a rift between Fiz and Tyrone?
