Spoilers for The Young and the Restless (Y&R) reveal that Melody Thomas Scott’s character Nikki Newman wants to oversee Chancellor Industries when it is reopened.
Her husband has a complex and active strategy to transfer her from her position as head of Newman Media to the company he intends to acquire.
Nikki agrees to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) scheme to take advantage of Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) medical issues even though it bothers her. Victor’s wish comes true as Nikki strikes up a conversation with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Getting information about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) from Lily will further the effort to take over Abbott Chancellor. So, Nikki is using Lily for now, which is purposeful.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Newman Is Not Teaching English Class
Disentangling is the present participle of the verb disentangle. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) heard the one-time love of his life, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), question him about that word.
He refuses to explain why Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) can not be discarded, as Summer wants. Knowing Kyle, Summer recognizes that he does not like or trust Audra. So, his refusal to explain this weird choice makes no sense.
What Summer needs to know is that Victor is Glissade’s silent backer. Kyle, like Audra, Nikki, Lily, Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc), and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), is part of a developing takeover scheme.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Aims For The Endgame
Victor’s determination to strike back at Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) includes the developing effort to attack Billy. Thompson’s character is seen as a lightweight.
Nikki disagrees with her husband, feeling that using Jill’s heart issue is wrong. However, she understands that Jill’s problem is not considered life-threatening, which Victor sees as a license to use to undermine Abbott Chancellor.
Forcing Billy out of the company he now heads alone will allow Victor to snag it. Then, he will install Nikki in what was once Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) spot at the top of CI. While that’s happening, Glissade is building, and Jabot will soon be threatened.
Y&R Spoilers – Lily Winters Sees The Big Picture
Lily wanted to change what was happening at Chancellor Winters. She initially intended to fool Billy by going with him to the reestablished Chancellor Industries.
Talking with Nikki, Victor’s fondness and respect for his friend and one-time top executive, the late Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), gives Lily an opportunity.
Victor and Nikki spoke about Lily’s potential role in the Newman-owned CI, and she said she would need to consider that option when it becomes a reality.
