Artist creates stunning mural following EastEnders legend June Brown’s death

Following the death of EastEnders legend June Brown, an artist created a beautiful mural in her honor.

The mural was painted in Moray Way, Romford, by the artist Gnasher.

‘For June’ is the title of the piece, and it stars the actress as Dot Cotton, a role she has played for over 30 years.

Gnasher’s amazing creation was quickly praised by fans, with many praising it as a stunning tribute.

June Brown died peacefully at her home in Surrey on Sunday night, surrounded by her family, according to an EastEnders spokesperson.

‘We are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved June Brown, OBE, MBE, sadly passed away last night,’ said a statement released on Monday.

June’s loving warmth, wit, and great humour will never be forgotten, and there are no words to describe how much she was loved and adored by everyone at EastEnders.

‘June created one of the most iconic characters in Dot Cotton, not just in soap but in British television, and her remarkable performances created some of EastEnders’ finest moments, having appeared in 2,884 episodes.’

Many former and current EastEnders cast members paid tribute to their colleague.

On Tuesday’s episode of Morning Live, Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale) said he was ‘lost for words’ when the news broke, while Scott Maslen (Jack Branning) told Gethin Jones and AJ Odudu how much he loved the actress.
