Sharon Mitchell of EASTENDERS is set to make an explosive return to Walford, and her reunion with husband Phil Mitchell looks to be on track. Will she regret turning her infant Kayden back? However, as Karen Taylor prepares to start a new life away from Walford with the tot?
Sharon Mitchell took a break from EastEnders after telling Phil Mitchell that she needed some time to grieve away from the Square for the death of Dennis Rickman (Bleu Landau).
Phil is desperate to be reunited with his wife and has put in place a dodgy offer to win her for Queen Vic but is the blonde bombshell secretly out for revenge?
The EastEnders stalwart was devastated after it was told that after giving birth to Kayden, Dennis had died moments after.
Sharon blamed herself immediately, but when she discovered that Phil had caused a crash, all her rage was directed at her husband who had been estranged.
The stalwart was unable to deal with raising her newest child and asked to raise her youngest son to Karen Taylor.
When Phil came back to Dennis’ funeral Square, Sharon was livid, but ultimately, after a heart-to-heart, the pair put the past behind them.
The two looked like they were heading for a reunion, but Sharon jetted off to Australia to think about what she needed.
Phil has been busy in recent scenes setting up a contract to secure enough money to purchase the Queen Vic.
Sharon has grown up in the iconic pub, and Phil believes that moving back in will help the couple get a fresh start.
However, a trailer for Sharon’s return to EastEnders suggests that Phil’s plan might not go as smoothly as he likes to.
In the teaser, Phil is happily surprised to see that Sharon is back from her Australian trip.
A surprised Linda asks her friend when she gets back in Queen Vic, and the startled tone of voice suggests there’s drama on the horizon.
Then Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) is heard saying to Phil: “You really think she’s prepared to give up a kid, just move to the Vic like nothing has happened.”
“You just worried about yourself,” Phil hits back as Sharon’s pictures flash up on Kayden’s baby.
“Just the two of us,” Sharon tells her husband, and he repeats the sentence.
Sharon is seen with Linda in tears, as a voiceover warns: “Pardon comes at a price.”
If Sharon starts having second thoughts about giving away Kayden, she might realise that she still wants Phil’s promised fresh start.
Could she want to get a new start with Kayden in the pub she grew up in whatever way Phil decides to raise her youngest son?
EastEnders fans suspect Sharon could be out for vengeance after Phil humiliated her when he discovered her affair with Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
One said: “I wanted Queen Sharon just the tonic, please give her the VIC and her baby. She deserves that!”
“Sharon is out for revenge after throwing her out on the street at Christmas and causing the death of Dennis. No doubt she will be kicking him out of the Vic and stealing it from him by this Christmas.
That’s what our queen is doing; she never lets something lie,’ wrote another.
Will Sharon and Phil live happily ever after, or will she realise she wants to raise Kayden to Queen Vic as she did to Dennis?
