Tracy Barlow of Coronation Street is scheduled to make an unexpected comeback to the cobbles next week, and she is not pleased with the changes that have occurred with Ken Barlow since her departure.
Tracy Barlow of Coronation Street is scheduled to make a spectacular comeback to the cobbles the following week.
When Kate Ford’s character departed Weatherfield for her lover Tommy Orpington, played by Matt Milburn, the ITV serial opera ended earlier this year.
This came after Tracy cheated on Steve McDonald, played by Simon Gregson, leading to their marriage breakdown. However, upon discovering that Tommy was moving to Spain for a new job, Tracy hastily tried to reconcile with Steve.
But their reunion was short-lived as she found out about a hidden letter from Tommy inviting her to Spain, leading her to leave Manchester for sunnier shores.
Leaving behind her daughter Amy (Elle Mulvaney) and father Ken Barlow (William Roache), Tracy sought a new life with Tommy.
Yet, she will be making an unexpected return to the street next week, unhappy with changes involving Ken during her absence. Ken had been hospitalised following a home accident, with Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) stepping in to care for him.
However, Tracy’s return brings discontentment, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Tracy is taken aback when she discovers that Ken has hired Cassie as his carer. Cassie is offended by Tracy’s remarks, leaving Ken wondering why she has returned.
She claims her visit is solely to spend time with Amy, but Ken suspects his daughter may be concealing something – but what could it be?
Will Steve welcome the sight of his estranged wife back on the cobbles? After losing Tracy to Tommy, he was heartbroken. Is there a chance for them to reconcile?
