Coronation Street twist as Imran Habeeb killed by Faye Windass after betrayal?

THE PROBLEM WITH CORONATION STREET Imran Habeeb isn’t aware that he possesses knowledge that may make Faye Windass’ life a living hell, but as he gets closer to putting the pieces together, the ITV soap star could be silenced for good.

After having a one-night stand behind her back last year, Imran (Charlie De Melo) has been focusing on his relationship with Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) in recent weeks on Coronation Street. As a result, he hasn’t paid much attention to the crime he witnessed at the start of last month when Faye (Ellie Leach) and Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) returned from a New Year’s Eve party to the cobblestones. A police inquiry has been opened into the death they played in on the ITV soap, and the lawyer may be questioned in future scenes about any odd behavior he has witnessed recently. As he recalls the interaction with the two young women, he realizes that his days are numbered, and he threatens to return Faye to prison.

Viewers are aware that the two are responsible for running over a senior on New Year’s Day, and that despite the fact that he was unharmed at the time, they later found he had died.

Before they knew what had happened to the old man, they were back on the cobbles in great spirits, and Emma, still a little tipsy from the night before, ran into Imran and told him about the party she had attended.

Emma had been supervising trainee driver Faye the morning after she let her hair down, and he had warned them that they may be in big danger.

Emma would be in just as much danger as her young learner driver if this scenario played out and something bad happened, he argued.

The news of the pensioner’s death has spread around Weatherfield, but Imran has yet to complete the jigsaw puzzle.

As he gets to work on the case, having been recruited by the deceased’s family to see if they have enough information to allow the police investigation to proceed, he may notice something familiar.

Returning to his conversation with Faye and Emma earlier this year, the lawyer may have suspicions that they are involved in the death.

He may face the young women and ask them to tell him the truth about what transpired on New Year’s Day morning.

Emma has become quite hesitant about the matter and could give Imran everything on a plate, despite Faye’s best efforts.

The kids would beg him to preserve their secret, but as a law enforcement officer, he could tell them he was going to report them.

Faye may start planning how she could silence the lawyer if she didn’t want to go back to jail so soon after being released.

She exhibited her ability to kill someone in 2020 when she committed Grievous Bodily Harm against Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson).

After Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) sexually attacked her, the kid intended to harm him, but she made a huge error by punching Imran’s colleague in the head instead.

It might be a double whammy for Faye, who believes that removing the other lawyer from the cobblestones will help her keep her freedom.

Will anybody notice she killed Imran as she goes to great efforts to keep her deadly secret hidden?

Executive producer Iain MacLeod teased Imran’s involvement in the murderous plot to Express.co.uk and other media ahead of the storyline’s start in January.

The soap’s executive producer offered a little more about the unintentional death, saying: “They bring [the elderly] home, make him feel at ease, and he’s OK.

“When you watch it, I believe you’ll see that all of their decisions are completely consistent with those that you or I might make.

“However, when you add them all up, it simply turns into a real nightmare,” he stated, before going into detail about the lawyer’s role.

“Suddenly, when things go bad, they realize there are already a number of witnesses, including Imran, who may incriminate them.”

“It’s an intriguing story because it’s a case of everything looking normal in the morning, but by the time the sun sets, your life is turned upside down and you’re potentially facing pretty serious legal implications,” he explained.

Will Faye ultimately snap and allow her true darkness to take over as she becomes a killer who knows she is capable of murder as a result of an unintentional death?

Since her brother, Gary Windass (Mikey North), was found guilty of a string of murders, there hasn’t been a serial murderer on the cobblestones.

Despite the fact that he only committed one, his actions and behaviors resulted in the deaths of many popular characters on the show.

It could be his deadly instincts that alert him to the fact that something is wrong with his sister and she is heading down a dangerous path.

He could assist in the removal of Imran’s body if Faye confesses her faults to him, having been responsible for Rana Habeeb’s (Bhavna Limbachia) death.

Gary would be surprised to find that his sister killed someone who was absolutely innocent, but he understands why she did so.

He could make her swear she won’t kill anyone else again, and they’d be able to put Imran’s killing in the past.

However, as more awkward questions are asked, the girl may be compelled to take matters into her own hands once more.
