‘Definitely in danger’ Emmerdale’s Vinny star hints at death after co-star’s tragic exit

Following his co-devastating star’s exit on the soap, EMMERDALE actor Bradley Johnson has claimed that death could be on the way for his character Vinny Dingle.

Bradley Johnson of Emmerdale joined Lorraine to discuss whether “detective” Vinny Dingle will be the next victim of Meena Jutla’s (Paige Sandhu) heinous crime spree in the Dales. In the most recent episode of the soap, Vinny decided to follow psycho killer Meena in Sam Dingle’s (James Hooton) truck and was eventually led to an abandoned barn where she was holding her sister Manpreet Sharma hostage (Rebecca Sarker). When actor Bradley stated that Vinny was “certainly in jeopardy” at the hands of villainous Meena, it raised worry.

Meena realized she was being followed by Vinny when the killer hit him over the head with a log of wood, knocking him out cold.

“For God’s sake, it’s all going on,” the host chirped. What will happen now that he’s a hostage?”

“Detective Vinny, as I like to call him, has prepared a storyboard with these ties leading to Meena, and he already has his concerns about her,” the celebrity added.

“But stupidly, he follows her down a country path and into an abandoned barn where he is seen with Manpreet and then he’s whacked over the head.”

Bradley continued: “I think [with] his mental state at the minute, he’s not thinking straight.

“He’ll do anything he can to get Liv out of prison and I don’t think Vinny sees, kind of, what danger he’s putting himself in, but yeah, he’s ended up in the hands of Meena.”

“Now, I don’t like to worry you, but see, the last time I spoke to someone who was in danger from Meena, that was the wonderful Simon you know who plays Ben of course, and that didn’t end well…

“So, I’m just a bit worried that we’re talking this morning and I’m slightly concerned.”

“Who knows?” the actor mused, not wanting to give too much away.

“Anyone in Meena’s skillful hands is obviously in danger,” Bradley continued, “so we’ll have to see if Vinny can make it out or if he’s one of Meena’s victims.”

“I’m crossing my fingers that everything will work out since I really like the character.” He’s incredibly stunning.”

While Vinny was asleep, Meena used his phone to send a message to his mother Mandy (Lisa Riley), intending to throw her off guard.

Companion hostage Vinny was horrified as Meena wheeled in an IV set-up after Manpreet told him about her sister’s prior victims.

In later sequences, Manpreet uses Vinny’s keys to free herself and confronts her murderous sister, wounding her with a piece of wood.

Unfortunately for the victims, Meena is able to overcome her, leaving Vinny concerned that they are on the verge of death.

Is this the end for Vinny and Manpreet, or will they be able to ultimately prove Meena’s guilt?

Meanwhile, later in the discussion, Lorraine revealed a nice detail about Bradley that ITV viewers at home were unaware of.

She gushed: “You and your granny dog share, this is brilliant, what a fantastic idea!”

The singer confessed his mother was allergic to dogs, but after moving house over a year ago, he now lives with his grandmother and shares Barney.

He claimed: “When I’m at work, he’s at grandma’s….he’s a little dream.”
