EastEnders’ Charlie Brooks shares joyful pictures with teenage daughter

Charlie Brooks, who stars in EastEnders, has shared some new photos with her teenage daughter.

Charlie, who portrays Janine Butcher in the BBC One serial, shared some photos on Instagram with her daughter Kiki, who turned 17 recently.

The actress captioned the set of photographs, ‘Happy 17th birthday little miss Kiki.’

‘Aren’t we living our lives?! In and out, up and down. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Well… I think I’d like a few more cuddles and a cup of tea now and then. You’ve been my most important instructor, and I adore you more than you’ll ever realize. We’re off, my not-so-little girl.’

In the comments, Jessie Wallace, Claire Sweeney, and Helen Flanagan were among the celebrities who wished Kiki a happy birthday.

Despite making up with her former and Kiki’s father, Tony Truman, Charlie opened up about the loneliness she had been facing during the multiple lockdowns back in March.

Charlie returned to EastEnders as Janine this year

‘There’s a certain confidence that comes with age,’ Charlie told MailOnline. Don’t get me wrong, some days I wake up feeling inarticulate and all of those things, but it’s all part of the process.

I’m more confidence in who I am, what I have to offer, and what I can accomplish.’

‘Every now and then, I get a little lonely.’ Charlie continued talking with Tony and Kiki about their experience in lockdown.

‘I’m single, and have been for a few years, but that’s fine because I’m in a great place.’ I believe I will be ready for love when it comes my way.’
