EastEnders death as beloved Walford resident killed after uncovering horrific crime?

Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) hasn’t had much luck on EastEnders, and it appears like her life is one horrible nightmare after another.

She has put herself in more risk in recent weeks after becoming an enemy of BBC soap villain Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith), who has killed three Walford residents during his stay on the Square.

As she assembles the jigsaw puzzle and reveals the killer for who he truly is, it appears that her life is on the line, as Gray strives to keep his dark secrets hidden.

The drama will begin the week before Christmas, as Gray prepares to marry Chelsea Fox, his second wife and child’s mother (Zaraah Abrahams).

However, what should be a pleasant time for him is overshadowed by the ghosts of his past, as Tina Carter’s (Luisa Bradshaw-White) death resurfaces.

Shirley Carter (Linda Henry), the victim’s sister, is left saddened when the villain tells her the woman he saw on a bus a few months earlier wasn’t Tina, despite the fact that she is six feet deep.

Whitney continues her effort to learn more about Gray while he tries to cover up his lies, and she begs his old supervisor Laura Awoyinka (Sarah Paul) to speak with Chelsea about her soon-to-be husband.

Laura has some bad news, as she claims to have already spoken to the expectant bride, who refused to listen to her.

Unfortunately, Whitney’s plan takes a turn for the worst when she loses an ally in Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol), who assures Gray that despite their tumultuous history, he will attend his wedding.

The troubled Walford resident runs into Chelsea and attempts to persuade her to understand her feelings about Gray, but the mother-to-be misunderstands and invites her friend to the wedding.

Whitney refuses to give up her fight to bring Gray down, despite the fact that she knows she doesn’t have much time left.

Chelsea phones her neighbor in a panic and asks that she come by to her house at precisely the appropriate time, giving Whitney the opportunity to look around for signs that Gray is a serial killer.

As the puzzle pieces fall together, the young woman discovers that Gray murdered his first wife, Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer).

Whitney makes her way to the location where Chelsea is scheduled to walk down the aisle, knowing she must put an end to the wedding.

She is ready to reveal the scoundrel for who he truly is, armed with evidence, and she tells the bride that her husband will be slain Chantelle.

The expectant mother is taken aback and has no idea what to believe about the man waiting for her at the other end of the aisle.

If she decides to go ahead with the wedding, she could interrogate Gray about the crimes Whitney accuses him of.

With the power of deception, the serial killer may convince his new wife that Whitney is merely envious and that she has nothing to worry about.

He’d know he’d have to silence Whitney for good, so he could go home and make sure she didn’t say anything else.

When the serial murderer discovered her at his home, he was able to confess to all of his crimes, including the murders of Chantelle, Tina, and Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami).

Whitney’s heart would be stabbed by the confession, as she had planned to run away with Kush and marry him.

Unfortunately, it appears that she may suffer the same fate as her friends and neighbors as Gray prepares to murder her.

The citizens of Walford may be bidding farewell to another cherished member of their town as Christmas Day draws to a close.

Shona, the actress who plays Whitney, recently came out about her character learning about Gray’s misdeeds.

She said in an interview with the press: “This might sound strange but as an actor, I hope she wants the ultimate revenge if she does find out about Kush and Tina.

“I hope she does something really unexpected that isn’t safe. She would never have thought that he was capable of murder.

Of the discovery her character makes about the villain, Shona added: “It’s also heartbreaking because Whitney and Chantelle were so close.

“It’s like one of those awful documentaries you see where the neighbour is a murderer – it’s crazy. It also scares Whitney that she was so close to him and could potentially have had a relationship with him.”

Could Whitney’s journey on the show come to a devastating end after almost 15 years as a popular character?

Discussing Gray’s downfall whether he kills again or not, a fan of the show Westie wrote on Twitter: “I think Gray will say something that will give himself away or he’ll say something that doesn’t match up to how Chantelle died or something #Eastenders.”

Ryan added: “This looks so good. I wonder what evidence Whitney is going to find to expose Gray? I wonder if the dishwasher is involved?

“I’d love for Chelsea to turn the tables against Gray as well stand up for herself and team up with Whitney #Eastenders.”

Alex posted: “Oooooh Whitney is on to Gray. She really needs to be careful #EastEnders.”
