Fans of EASTENDERS may soon see villain Gray Atkins leave the show as he flees the cops. Is he going to get away with it?
After killing several Walford residents, EastEnders viewers have been waiting patiently for Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) to be exposed. Tina Carter’s (Luisa Bradshaw-White) body is close to being discovered, so the murderer could be apprehended soon. Gray will soon become panicked, according to official BBC soap spoilers, as the killer fears his crimes will be discovered. Could he end up eluding the cops and permanently abandoning Albert Square?
Gray murdered Tina in December 2020, as regular EastEnders viewers will recall.
After Tina discovered Gray had murdered his wife Chantelle Atkins, Gray murdered her to cover his tracks (Jessica Plummer).
Tina’s family has been told by the serial killer that she is still alive and on the run.
Viewers haven’t known where Gray hid Tina’s body until now, but he’ll soon be worried that it’ll be discovered at Argee Bhajee.
Gray panics in upcoming scenes on the soap when he sees Argee Bhajee has been cordoned off as a result of the gas explosion.
When Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) sees Gray, he tells her it’s a big day at the hospital because he’ll be able to hold baby Jordan for the first time.
He later returns to Argee Bhajee, posing as an insurance broker who needs to ‘assess’ the property’s damage.
When the builder explains that the building must be stripped, Gray becomes concerned that Tina’s body is about to be discovered.
Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) overhears Chelsea Fox’s (Zaraah Abrahams) annoyances in the café. Gray hasn’t returned her phone calls.
With Gray still missing, new mother Chelsea is overjoyed to hold Jordan for the first time.
However, when she later shows Gray the photos, he accuses her of bragging.
Gray cruelly berates his wife, claiming he was unable to go to the hospital due to work.
Whitney later spots Chelsea and is taken aback by her state.
As a result, Whitney makes a significant decision and reports Gray’s murder to the police station.
Whitney tells everything to DCI Arthurs, and the cops appear to want to help Chelsea if she is in danger.
Gray hastily packs a bag and grabs the family’s passports, fearful that his crimes will be exposed.
When DCI Arthurs approaches Gray, however, the pressure mounts quickly.
