EastEnders fans ‘solve’ Gray’s downfall as Chelsea to ‘find Tina murder evidence’

Gray Atkins’ involvement in the murders of Tina Carter and Chantelle Atkins may have been hinted at in an episode of EastEnders.

After spying on her and discovering she had lied to him, the character issued a chilling threat to new wife Chelsea Fox on Tuesday.

However, it sparked speculation among fans that he might end up revealing his past crimes, despite the fact that some viewers claimed this was impossible.

Chelsea had fled the house, while Kheerat Panesar kept Gray occupied at the pub in the hopes of obtaining her passport so that she could register her baby son Jordan’s birth without Gray’s knowledge.

After discovering proof that Gray was violent towards his ex-wife Chantelle, Kheerat has been plotting with Whitney Dean to bring him down.

They’re both convinced he killed her, but they need proof, and they’re also trying to get Chelsea away from her murderous husband.

Chelsea sneaked home just as Gray returned in the most recent episode, claiming she had gone out for milk.

What she didn’t realize was that the Ring doorbell camera had captured the exact moment she left and returned, proving she hadn’t just popped out.

He then threatened her with dire consequences if she didn’t tell him the truth, but viewers were drawn away from the scene when he showed Chelsea the camera footage of her.

Many fans wondered how long the camera had been there and if it had captured his movements on the nights of Tina and Chantelle’s deaths.

Some fans hoped that this would be the catalyst for his downfall, and that Chelsea would go snooping and discover evidence of him transporting Tina’s body to his car.

As one Twitter user put it: “I’m curious as to what that ‘Ring’ doorbell has seen. Gray sneaking out of the house the night Chantelle died, putting Tina’s body in the trunk of his car, and now Chelsea!”

Another concurred: “That is Gray’s undoing! “I just rewatched when Gray killed Tina,” a third added. The Ring Doorbell appears to be on the door…..”

Others, however, pointed out that the doorbell was apparently a recent purchase, implying that he did not have a camera prior to this.

Some fans noticed it wasn’t outside the house in December scenes, so while it’s a good theory, it’s unlikely it was there previously.

One viewer commented: “That’s not the ‘ring doorbell’. I’ve just watched the clip of Whitney rushing to tell Chelsea about Chantelle’s forum posts few weeks ago and it’s a different doorbell.”

Another wrote: “Also, he said ‘we can’t be too careful now we’re spending so much time at the hospital’ – so it’s a new install.”

A third added: “He probably put it there after Christmas to try and catch Chelsea out but never say never.”
