EastEnders heartbreak as beloved couple torn apart in tragic hate crime murder?

When a hate crime rattles the square, EASTENDERS fans may be forced to say goodbye to a beloved figure.

A series of attacks on citizens in Walford have been linked to far-right hate organizations, leaving the community frightened. On New Year’s Eve, a bomb was planted near Kathy Beale’s (played by Gillian Taylforth) lesbian pub The Albert, and on Tuesday, many people were assaulted in a homophobic attack. Will Callum Highway (Tony Clay) and Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) be driven apart for good in EastEnders as a result of these attacks?

Ben froze as he witnessed his husband being attacked by a gang of attackers in recent episodes.

For the dubious dealer, the tragedy will bring up painful memories of losing his boyfriend Paul Coker (Jonny Labey) in the same way.

Will history repeat itself and end up putting Ben in great danger?

Official soap spoilers reveal that a worried Callum will contact Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).

He begs him to give his son some time off, but Ben isn’t happy when he learns that his husband cheated on him.

Callum tries everything he can to reach Ben, but the Mitchell tough guy refuses to talk.

Later, when Paul’s grandma Pam Coker (Lin Blakley) comes by, Ben is caught off guard.

Pam wanted to check on Ben after hearing about the attack, and the shady dealer lets himself down.

Ben sobs while Pam consoles him, but he isn’t as forthcoming with his husband.

The Mitchell son then fails to show up for a meeting with Phil and several key clients.

Phil is enraged with his son and makes it obvious that he will not treat Ben differently.

Callum confides in Kathy, concerned about his husband, and seeks her guidance.

Meanwhile, Phil runs into Isaac Baptise (Stevie Basaula) as he walks Lexi Mitchell (Isabella Brown) home and cautions him that grasses are not his friend.

Kathy breaks the tension by informing Phil that she needs to speak with him about their kid.

Ben returns home to find his mother, father, and husband have staged an intervention.

The shady dealer sobs and reveals he’s worried about his safety after the recent incident.

When Paul’s killer, Simon Atmore (Tom Palmer), was released from prison last year after successfully appealing his conviction, Ben was horrified.

Ben was assaulted on his behalf by Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol), and it’s possible that the Mitchell hard guy would seek vengeance on the group that attacked Callum.

It’s evident that Ben isn’t in the right headspace to track down the far-right gang, and he could wind up hurting himself.

Despite the fact that he had been injured, police officer Callum would prefer to forgo seeking revenge on the group and instead bring them to justice.

Will Ben go off on his own to assault the homophobic group and end up in serious danger?

Callum may learn Ben has been slain by the gang in a cruel twist of destiny, just as his husband witnessed Paul’s killing.
