EastEnders heartbreak for Carter family as Tina’s body found?

Shirley Carter and Mick Carter of EASTENDERS are about to have their lives turned upside down when they learn that Tina’s body has been discovered.

Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) murdered Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) in December 2020 after she discovered he was responsible for Chantelle Atkins’ (Jessica Plummer) death. The family assumed she had run away to avoid being prosecuted for an attack on Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) when the events occurred, not realizing her body was buried beneath their feet on Albert Square. Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) and Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol) teamed up to bring EastEnders lawyer Gray down, but the discovery of Tina’s body could hasten their plan.

Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) threatens to cancel the boxing match Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) organized if they don’t get more people to sign up in scenes set to air next week.

Meanwhile, Zack Hudson (James Farrar) is persuaded to enter a cooking competition by Martin Fowler (James Bye) and Nancy Carter (Maddy Hill), so Nancy lets him practice in the Vic’s kitchen.

Mick informs Janine that the match will be canceled due to a lack of participants, prompting Janine to seek assistance from Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) in getting people to sign up.

Kim completes her task but promises free drinks for a year to whoever beats Mick, which irritates the landlord, who asks Janine to make sure he fights the weakest person.

Janine’s plan to draw a weak person backfires, and things get even worse when Mick receives Linda’s divorce papers (Kellie Bright).

Nancy opens up about her parents’ divorce after Zack informs her that he will no longer compete in the cooking competition.

Nancy asks him to cook something for her to cheer them up, and despite their agreement to remain friends, she leans in for a passionate kiss.

Mick ignores the divorce papers and practices for his boxing match, but Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) and Janine intervene because they are concerned he is not capable.

Shirley decides to flirt with his rival, Teddy, in the hopes of diverting his attention away from Mick.

However, her strategy backfires, and Mick’s fight gets off to a bad start.

But things get even worse when Nancy and Zack show up just before the cops arrive.

Tina’s body has been discovered beneath the Argee Bhajee, according to DCI Peter Arthurs (Ian Burfield).

The Carters’ world is turned upside down by the news as they cope with the death of their beloved sister.

Shirley informs DCI Arthurs that Tina was stealing money from her and that Gray saw her on the bus, which makes her suspicious.

Could the game be over now that the cops have turned their attention to Gray?

Many times, fans have assumed Gray would be apprehended only to discover he is one step ahead.

Is Gray plotting to make it appear that she was killed in the bombing planned by extremist Aaron Monroe (Charlie Wernham)?

Will Mick, enraged at the prospect of his sister’s death, take matters into his own hands before Gray is able to flee?

Gray has murdered his wife Chantelle, Tina, Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami), and attempted to kill his children and Whitney during his reign over Walford.
