Whitney Dean of EASTENDERS tried everything she could to persuade Chelsea Fox not to marry Gray Atkins on Christmas Day. Chelsea, despite her best attempts, arrived in time to say ‘I do.’ Chesea, on the other hand, was asking for aid to escape by the end of the spectacular Christmas episode.
Whitney (Shona McGarty) ended up sharing screenshots of Chantelle’s (Jessica Plummer) harrowing written entries of Gray’s (Toby-Alexander Smith) abuse to Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams). Kheerat (Jaz Deol) accused Gray of abusing Chantelle before her death and was heartbroken to learn he was correct.
Consumed by remorse for what happened to Chantelle, it appears that the EastEnder’s favorite intends to atone for her misfortune by protecting Chelsea from the same fate. Is it possible that he’ll perish in the process?
Chantelle was subjected to a slew of awful torture by the nasty lawyer, as viewers of the iconic BBC soap know.
Since then, Gray has remained beneath the spotlight, portraying his wife’s death as a terrible accident.
Whitney, a popular Walford resident, suspected Gray earlier this year after seeing a different side of him, and now she has proof of his brutality against Chantelle.
After Kheerat told her that they needed to be careful how they brought Gray down, she raced over to Gray’s house on Christmas morning and attempted to woo him into canceling the wedding.
However, her plot failed, and Chelsea opted to marry Gray after learning that Whitney had kissed him.
The market trader, desperate, stormed over to Chelsea’s and told her the truth.
“I think he killed her,” Whitney tearfully admitted to the baffled bride.
“You’ve got it wrong,” Chelsea cried. “The police investigated her death.”
Gray, Whitney pointed out, understood how to hide his tracks as a lawyer.
“I know I should have come to you first, I know that – but Kheerat told me not to,” she confessed.
“Kheerat?” Chelsea asked, stunned.
Whitney replied: “Yes. He knows all about this, he believes me.”
“Wasnt Kheerat obsessed with Chantelle?” Chelsea argued.
Following a brawl at The Vic, Whitney emailed screenshots of the thread to Whitney before tracking down Kheerat to devise a strategy.
She asked: “What do you expect me to do?”
“She didn’t believe me,” Whitney tearfully informed Kheerat.
“I did!” Chelsea shouted as she ran up to the pair.
“You have to help me, I have to get away – I married a murderer,” she pleaded.
Whitney quickly persuaded her not to go through with the wedding, but Gray returned to the house to inform her that Whitney had kissed him and that she should not trust her.
It appears that he and Whitney may be able to assist Chelsea in making a quick but unobtrusive getaway, which may be tough in her bridal gown.
As Whitney distracts Gray, the two could persuade Chelsea to pack her belongings and depart.
Kheerat will most likely be at the center of the scheme, keeping an eye on Gray to make sure he doesn’t hurt Whitney or Chelsea.
Gray, always one to let things slip from his grasp, will most likely go seeking for Chelsea, endangering Whitney in the process.
Kheerat will undoubtedly come in to assist.
If he does, or if Gray notices him assisting Chelsea, he is unlikely to survive the encounter.
Since killing Chantelle, the serial murderer has gone on to murder Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) and Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami), therefore he won’t hesitate to kill Kheerat.
Will Chelsea be able to flee, and if she does, will Gray have Kheerat’s blood on his hands instead?
