Danny Walters, who played Keanu Taylor on EastEnders, debuted his new look on Sunday and looked nothing like his bad-boy character.
On the snap, the actor, who starred on the soap from 2017 to 2020, was showered with praise from fans.
The 28-year-old, who was known on the show for his buzz cut and tracksuit, debuted his new look, which included longer locks and stubble.
Danny shared the photo on Instagram as part of a sneak peek into his trip to Amsterdam with fans.
The actor sported a stubble beard and moustache, as well as tousled dark hair that blew in the wind.
Danny completed his ensemble with a juniper green gilet over a black shirt and cerulean jeans, as well as a stylish pair of aviator sunglasses.
A white baseball cap hung from his waistband, a silver necklace, black bracelets, and a smart watch completed his ensemble.
Danny captioned the photo, “The moment you realize you’re a tourist in Amsterdam but dressed like @prattprattpratt from Jurassic World / a film director #action,” referring to Chris Pratt, the star of the film Jurassic World.
Fans were quick to praise his new look, with one commenting, “Cracked me up, you still look fantastic.”
‘Still the best looking chap there lad,’ said another.
‘Suits you tho,’ a third agreed, writing.
Danny also shared another photo from his trip with Maddi Faircloth, his reality star girlfriend.
Danny’s long locks are hidden under a baseball cap in the photo, which was taken in front of one of the city’s famous canals.
Maddi looks stunning in a chic black leather jacket and funky magenta print trousers, which she wears across her body with a Dior handbag.
The couple, who has been together since late 2021, has avoided over-sharing on social media.
‘Danny is smitten with Maddi, but he wanted to keep the relationship low profile,’ a source said.
‘It’s still early days, but they had a good time spending Christmas together, and their friends believe they’ll get more serious in the future.’ Everyone is ecstatic for them because they get along so well.’
Maddi, who works as a data analyst and sells her own artwork, starred in the Channel 4 series Shipmates in 2019, in which she attended epic pool parties onboard a luxury cruise liner as part of a Mediterranean cruise.
The show was dubbed “Love Island on a Ship,” and critics gave it mixed reviews, with one calling it “a ghastly tableau of sun, sex, and swollen genitals.”
Maddi’s five-person team, made up of close friends, competed against a rival group in a series of tasks in the hopes of winning votes from 1,500 party-loving passengers and winning a trip to Bali.
Maddi, who is tattooed, opens up about her breasts in the first episode, revealing that she has a collection of moles around her nipples that she refers to as “the solar system.”
Danny left EastEnders in 2020 after his character Keanu had an affair with Sharon Watts, which resulted in the birth of their youngest son Albie behind her partner Phil Mitchell’s back.
Sharon’s stepdaughter, Louise Mitchell, had just given birth to Keanu’s daughter Peggy.
Sharon blamed Keanu for her son Denny’s death, which occurred when Phil, seeking vengeance, threw the mechanic against the steering wheel of a party boat on the River Thames, causing it to crash, killing her beloved child.
However, after the crash, viewers learned that Sharon’s close friend Ian Beale had locked Denny inside a room below deck and he was unable to escape alive.
