EastEnders icon Patrick Trueman dead as Isaac Baptiste bids farewell to Walford?

Patrick Trueman, the legendary resident of EASTENDERS, could be leaving the BBC soap in the coming months as Isaac Baptiste, the last member of his biological family, decides to leave the Square.

Since his mother, Sheree Trueman (Suzette Llewellyn), left EastEnders last year, Patrick (Rudolph Walker) has been supporting Isaac (Stevie Basaula). Although the pair had a rocky start when the schoolteacher discovered the BBC soap icon was his father, they have since grown closer, particularly after the legendary character assisted his son in overcoming a mental health relapse. Unfortunately, Isaac will be leaving the show later this year after only two and a half years, but will his departure put Patrick’s health in jeopardy?

Isaac has been taking a break from the action on the weeknight serial drama in recent weeks in order to focus on his relationship with Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold).

Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Kim Fox (Tameka Empson), the young man’s surrogate daughters, have also had their hands full trying to help them with their squabbles.

After divorcing his most recent wife, Sheree, the iconic character recently joined several of the eligible bachelors on the Square for a speed dating night.

His father would be crushed if the school teacher announced his departure by saying he is leaving to start a new chapter in his life.
With all three of his sons having left him in some capacity and no wife by his side, the legendary character’s days may be numbered.

With so many ailments over the years, he may not be able to cope with the loss of his son, leaving his surrogate family in shambles.

He’s been a father figure to the Fox family, and while there are still plenty of them around, he might feel more distant from them now that Isaac is gone.

Late last week, it was revealed that the actor who plays Isaac, Stevie, would be leaving the show in the near future.

Following photos of him at a farewell party with co-star Zack Morris, who is also departing from the role of Keegan Baker, the BBC’s head of continuing drama, Kate Oates, confirmed the news in a statement.

“Stevie has been a huge asset to EastEnders during his time here, not least through his incredible performance across Isaac’s schizophrenia story,” said the show’s executive producer.
