EastEnders legends Mick Carter and Janine Butcher for double exit in kidnap twist?

Mick Carter and Janine Butcher, who play Scarlett Moon on EASTENDERS, may be about to leave the BBC soap together in upcoming scenes, as it appears they may hatch a plan to get their hands on her.

Mick (Danny Dyer) will be leaving EastEnders later this year, after almost a decade on the show, but he may not be leaving alone. He could finally give in to his feelings for the legendary bad girl of Walford, Janine (Charlie Brooks), after forming a bond with her in recent months and his wife Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) becoming more distant than ever. However, the pair may face a dramatic exit if they become involved in a kidnapping plot involving young Scarlett (Tabitha Byron), but will they be able to flee in time to avoid police capture?

Mick begins to spend more time with Janine after they kissed over Christmas, and the drama begins next week on the weeknight serial drama.

He’s been attempting to avoid her, but with the villainous character refusing to go away, he believes it’s time to let go of their passionate encounter.

The landlord of the Queen Vic implores the barmaid to prove she is a good mother, knowing she is still upset about not having sole custody of her daughter.

Unfortunately, his efforts to encourage Janine are in vain, as the young schoolgirl rejects her once more.

Mick decides to take action to reunite the mother and daughter because he wants to help as much as he can.

Mick gives Scarlett a special present and tells her that it was all her mother’s idea and that she adores her.

He hopes that this time, his intervention has swayed the schoolgirl’s opinion of Janine, and that the two can finally be a happy family.

If this plan fails, the pub landlord may suggest to his love interest that they take drastic measures to regain Scarlett’s custody.

He would explain, however, that this would necessitate them leaving Walford and starting over somewhere else.

Janine would be hesitant to get up and leave, knowing her daughter is settled, having only recently returned to the Square.

Janine might also believe she no longer needs to stay in Walford, given that her last living relative on the Square died last year.

With nothing binding her, the villainous character could tell the pub landlord that she thinks it would be a great idea if they all left together.

Mick and the barmaid may have a steamy and passionate affair as they plan a new life together, with the pub owner telling his love interest that he wants to be a permanent part of her life.

His loved ones would argue that moving on from Linda and into a relationship with Janine is the wrong thing to do.

Mick, obstinate and unwilling to change his mind, could begin packing his belongings, knowing that the sooner they leave, the better.

Scarlett, on the other hand, is still living with Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and will remain in her care for the time being.

As a result, Mick and Janine would have to employ some devious methods to ensure the schoolgirl accompanied them out of the country.

They may end up kidnapping the schoolgirl and rushing to the airport to catch the next flight out of the UK.

Unfortunately for those who remain on the Square, it may be too late when they discover Scarlett is missing.

Will Mick and Janine be able to get away with their crimes and live the happily ever after they’ve always desired?

Viewers of the show appear to be rooting for the couple to get together, as evidenced by their comments on Twitter.

“I actually want Janine and Mick to get together #EastEnders @bbceastenders,” Miss Nini wrote on the social media platform.

Faith added: “I hope they don’t do a Mick and Janine thing without Linda being on canvas #EastEnders.”

“For the love of God, I hope Mick doesn’t end up in bed with Janine!” Sarah exclaimed. “I had a feeling this could happen,” Ryan said of #EastEnders.

“I’m glad about it, though, because it could lead to Janine owning the pub after Mick leaves, which is exactly what she wanted.” Also, I had the impression that Mick was missing Janine after she had left. So I’m glad they’re back together #EastEnders,” they say.

Danny, who plays Mick on the weeknight serial drama, has spoken out about his decision to leave the role after eight years.

Speaking on his Sorted With The Dyers podcast, he said: “I’m very lucky, I’m very grateful.

“When you’re in a job like a soap, your contract comes up for renewal and every time it has they’ve asked me to stay, and I’m very grateful for that.

“I’ve seen a lot of people come and go, it’s very tough. I always debate whether I want to sign again, and I’ve been contemplating a while now about maybe it’s time to roll the dice, take the leap

“That’s not because I fell out with anybody – I love everybody there, that job’s been amazing for me. And it’s an important part of television. I’m grateful for the beautiful years I had there. I’m going to miss the people massively.”
