EastEnders’ Mick Carter and Janine Butcher grow closer

Mick Carter and Janine Butcher have become closer as a result of her new EastEnders schemes.

For months, the legendary villain has been plotting how to win over Mick, even going undercover to persuade Linda Carter that her marriage is over. Mick, on the other hand, has been unresponsive to her advances.

Janine has been frustrated this week because Mick tried speed dating to move on from Linda, but the woman he met looked exactly like his estranged wife.

Mick missed planning Ollie’s school project due to his inebriation at the speeding dating event, putting him on the outs with his mother Shirley.

Mick begged Janine for help getting rid of her new love interest, Angela, once she showed up for a date at the Vic after rejecting Rocky’s offer to start boxing. Janine marched out into the bar in classic Peggy Mitchell style to inform Angela that she had been barred from the Vic!

Angela had been stalking Mick to frighten her away, according to Janine. Janine turned to Ollie’s school project to show Mick that he can count on her after chasing Angela out of the Vic.

Mick was surprised when Ollie and Shirley credited him with saving the day at school after Janine covered for him.

Mick had pitched a charity boxing match with the parents, which she quickly covered by reminding him.

Mick was touched that Janine had come to his aid with Ollie’s school, despite Shirley’s warning that he would “not be forgiven” for his drunken antics.
