Ruhtxjiah Bèllènéa, who played Mila Marwa in EastEnders, is stepping down.
At a 12-month run on Albert Square, the actress has opted to leave the BBC soap after the conclusion of her plot.
“Ruhtxjiah was invited into the soap last year to be part of a very major FGM storyline,” a source told The Sun.
“It’s time for her to move on because her character’s time has passed.”
Ruhtxjiah joins Tiffany Butcher’s Maisie Smith and Ian Beale’s Adam Woodyatt in quitting their roles on the hit drama in the last year.
Danny Dyer, the actor most known for his role as Mick Carter, also recently announced his departure for new horizons.

In her short time on the BBC soap opera, Ruhtxjiah has already had her share of dramatic plot twists.
Her demeanor is characterized by an After Mila rescued her younger sister Kioni from the clutches of female genital mutilation, their mother was arrested, and the sisters were forced to relocate to Kathy’s house.
As soon as she started seeing Muslim character Iqra, Mila was forced to keep her sexuality a secret for fear of upsetting her parents.
Once EastEnders is over, Ruhtxjiah’s acting career is going to take off.
Graduated from Arts Educational Schools in 2017 and moved straight to West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
As well as Temple 2, she has been in BBC’s Dark Money and the films Venice at Dawn, Rise Above, and The Last Tree.
A BIFA award for Best Supporting Actress went to Ruhtxjiah, who played a role in The Last Tree, in 2019.
