EastEnders spoiler video sees Mitch decide to tell Mack and Mia about Gray

In Tuesday’s (March 15) visit to EastEnders, Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) is adamant that Mack and Mia need to know the truth about their father Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith).

Gray’s reign of terror came to an end last week when he was charged with the murder of Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White).

The killer attempted to flee the Square but was apprehended by the police after a showdown on the bridge with Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty).

His actions have sent shockwaves through the Square, with several families still grieving the loss of loved ones who died at Gray’s hands.

Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) has been particularly troubled, as she has only recently discovered that Gray is to blame for her daughter Chantelle’s death (Jessica Plummer).

Mitch, meanwhile, has been doing everything he can to support her since the news broke, and in the above clip from Tuesday’s episode of the BBC One soap, he returns from dropping grandchildren Mack and Mia off at school.

When he was talking about the school run, he said, “It’s funny how people stopped chatting as soon as we showed up.”

‘There are no prizes for guessing what they were discussing.’

Karen insists on keeping the kids out of school, but Mitch points out that Mack and Mia will soon begin ‘hearing things,’ and suggests that they should tell them the truth before they hear it from someone else.

Karen exclaims, ‘It’s Mack’s birthday!’ thinking it would be inappropriate to spoil the child’s special day.

Mitch, on the other hand, disagrees, reminding Karen that the truth will hit the kids hard no matter when they hear it.

He concludes, ‘We need to sit them down and tell them everything!’

Is Karen on board? Will the duo follow through on their promises?
