In EastEnders, Aaron Monroe (Charlie Wernham) is hellbent on carrying out his plan to destroy the Mosque.
This holiday season, the far-right extremist suggested that he and gang leader Neil (Thomas Coombes) make a “statement” for their “cause.”
‘[Christmas] is where we start then,’ he said during a Monday December 13 episode. ‘[There are] a few people around here who could use some instruction.
‘How are they going to build a mosque in a structure that doesn’t exist?’ That is our position.
‘We’ll take their restaurant – their pretend Mosque – and set it on fire.’
When Aaron learned that his sister Dana (Barbara Smith) was considering converting to Islam, he was shocked.
Dana and her boyfriend Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) will plan something special in the coming scenes, as Dana explains that she wants to learn more about Islam and visit the Mosque.
Bobby is encouraging, and Harvey (Ross Boatman) gives Aaron some sound counsel. Aaron, on the other hand, is focused on something else when he meets with Neil, who stuns him by revealing that he wants them to boost the ante with their plan.
But what exactly does Neil want them to do?
