Kat clashes with Tommy
Kat is struggling to keep the Mitchell empire afloat while Phil is out of commission, as well as dealing with an increasingly disobedient Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall). When she refuses to pay for a school trip, the kid runs away, unaware that his bullies are demanding money to keep him from being beaten.

Nancy kisses Zack
Nancy Carter (Maddy Hill) is worried about her parents’ impending divorce, and she needs a friend (not to mention a decent storyline). Nancy turns to old flame Zack Hudson, with Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) digging her claws into vulnerable Mick, aunt Shirley preoccupied with the Tina situation, and residual resentment towards half-sister Frankie (James Farrar).
The dashing hunk is competing in a cooking competition and is using the Vic’s kitchen, which brings him back into Nance’s orbit and leads to a heart-to-heart between the two. Is this to say they’re back on now that it’s not just the fan-assisted oven that’s heating up as Nancy goes in for a snog?
