EastEnders Spoilers: Tina discovery, Shirley confession traps Gray, and Frankie returns

Fans of EastEnders can expect an emotional rollercoaster of a week as Tina Carter’s body is finally discovered, sending shockwaves through Albert Square.

Tina Carter has been missing for over a year, with her family assuming she ran away to avoid being prosecuted for the attack on Ian Beale.

The Carter family, on the other hand, will be devastated when police announce that her body has been discovered next week.

Gray will awaken from Kheerat Panesar’s head blow to find the walls closing in on him, while Mick will be saddened to receive divorce papers from Linda.

Here’s what’s going on in Walford next week…

The Carters reel as Tina Carter’s body finally found

The family is unprepared for the shocking news that will be delivered to them on the soap next week, when DCI Arthurs arrives on their doorstep and informs them that Tina’s body has been discovered in the Argee Bhajee.

Their lives have been turned upside down by the news that Tina has died, but Shirley (Linda Henry) is determined to find out the truth.

Suspicious, she informs DCI Arthurs that Tina had been stealing money from her and that Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith) had seen her on the bus – could this be the missing link that connects Tina’s death to Gray?

While the Carters have no idea who killed Tina, viewers have known since the beginning that Gray brutally murdered her after she discovered that he had murdered his wife Chantelle.

Gray has since assassinated Kush Kazemi, attempted to assassinate his children and Whitney Dean, and abused his current wife Chelsea.

Frankie returns as Carter family grieves

On next week’s episode, Frankie Lewis appears, just as it is revealed that Tina’s body has been discovered.

Rose Ayling-Ellis took a break from EastEnders to compete in Strictly Come Dancing, which she won with professional partner Giovanni Pernice.

During an appearance on ITV’s This Morning in January, Rose revealed that she had returned to filming for the BBC One soap.

She said: “My first day back was yesterday. It was good fun, it was weird to be back. Everyone was so excited to see me again. Back in The Vic, it was really lovely.”

Linda serves Mick divorce papers ahead of boxing bout

Mick Carter, a popular character on EastEnders, will have to face the end of his marriage this week after being served divorce papers.

After her affair with Max Branning (Jake Wood) was exposed, the landlord of the Queen Vic (Danny Dyer) faces even more heartbreak as his marriage to Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is about to end for good.

The stress of a charity boxing match that Mick has organized will be the focus of next week’s episode of the soap.

Due to the low turnout for the boxing match, Kim has to offer free drinks to anyone who can beat a gloved-up Mick in the ring.

Mick’s nerves are heightened, however, when he is pitted against Teddy, a bruiser.

Mick is served with divorce papers from Linda just as he prepares to put on his gloves and enter the ring to face Teddy.

By channeling his rage in the ring, he manages to put his marriage, which is one signature away from ending to one side.
