Awkward! Charlie Brooks and her co-star James Bye shared a tense moment outside the Tric Awards on Wednesday evening following the boozy awards ceremony
According to a source close to the situation, there were no heated exchanges during the talk; they were merely trying to sort out travel plans to their next destination.
Charlie wore a black little dress with studded embellishments over the shoulders for the occasion, and she looked stunning.
For the star-studded event, the Lie With Me actress wore her short blonde locks in gorgeous waves and donned a full face of make-up.
James, on the other hand, was dressed in a navy blazer over a white T-shirt.

Tense? Charlie, 40, recently made a dramatic return to Walford as her iconic character Janine Butcher, alongside Martin Fowler actor James, 37
They were observed waiting outside the venue after the awards, where James could be seen raising his arms and pointing a finger at Charlie.
Another friend was spotted standing in the centre, seeming to mediate the issue.
After the heated exchange, Charlie appeared to be engaged in her phone, typing away.
Despite the apparent harsh words, Charlie and James got into a taxi together and went somewhere else.
Charlie announced that her nasty character’s villainous character will have an affair with local hunk Zack Hudson ahead of her EastEnders return (James Farrar).
She also hinted that there will be more “huge fire scenes” as her character returns to Albert Square.
‘Coming up next week we have massive fire scenes and there is definitely a love interest with someone who is really easy on the eye, Zack,’ Charlie told The Sun at the National Television Awards on Thursday.
‘There are many of strong female relationships when I brush up against them at the pub,’ she said, revealing that she’ll be clashing with other feisty characters. Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Slater, is a phenomenal actress, and Lacey Turner has been equally impressive.’
While Janine is enjoying flirting with Zack or getting into problems with Kat, danger awaits her when she is caught in a fire at Phil Mitchell’s house while looking for her daughter Scarlett.
However, despite the dark and deadly themes, Charlie stated that she wants to convey the lighter side of her character by having her create a drag club.
‘I’d want to see Janine running a club with a bunch of drag queens and little Scarlett hanging out with us,’ she continued. ‘Kind of like RuPaul.’
The actress went on to say that when she got the call from show bosses, she was excited to find out what Janine had been up to during her absence, saying that she was interested in the ‘development of Janine.’
She went on to say that she tries to pitch her character concepts to the show’s producers, but success in getting them to listen varies.
It happened just days after Charlie’s long-awaited return to Walford last week.
When she pretended to be a doctor on Monday’s episode of the drama, she fooled the unsuspecting Zack, it was evident that the character had not changed her methods while away from Albert Square.

‘Here I am,’ Janine said, introducing herself as Judith Bernstein. ‘The meter is ticking, so give me your worst.’
Janine last appeared on the drama in March 2014, when she traveled to Paris to pick up her daughter Scarlett, who is also returning.
Charlie’s character was involved in a number of high-profile storylines, the most well-known of which being the death of her on-screen husband, Barry Evans, who she pushed off a cliff in Scotland in a 2004 episode.
Four years later, Janine returned to Albert Square, and her most recent stint on the serial concluded in 2014.
