Emmerdale newcomer Mackenzie Boyd disrupts Cain and Sam Dingle’s attempts to take revenge against Jamie Tate next week.
Show bosses have cast Lawrence Robb in the role of Mackenzie, who’s the estranged brother of established character Moira Dingle.
In next week’s episodes, Sam’s wife Lydia (Karen Blick) complains to him about the latest row that she has had with ruthless Jamie (Alexander Lincoln).
Sam (James Hooton) vows that Jamie will get what’s coming to him – and it doesn’t take long for him to team up with Cain for the family’s latest fightback.
Soon afterwards, Jamie is drowning his sorrows at Home Farm when he hears some strange noises coming from elsewhere in the mansion.
As Jamie searches for the source of the noise, he fails to spot Mackenzie hiding in the shadows with a crowbar in his hand.
Jamie ends up returning to his drink, but his day takes a dramatic turn when Sam and Cain (Jeff Hordley) suddenly turn up – claiming that they want a “chat”.
There’s a menacing air to Sam and Cain’s visit, but they’re unaware that Mackenzie is still hiding and watching everything.
Cain reveals his dark plan for this visit, but Mackenzie is intrigued and soon steps out of the shadows to make his presence felt.
Could Jamie have found a new villager who’s willing to team up with him?
Emmerdale fans will see Mackenzie’s first appearance in this Thursday’s double bill (October 29), as he kidnaps Cain.
