Emmerdale error as Vinny Dingle rushes to see Liv Flaherty after horror attack

Viewers of the ITV soap EMMERDALE have slammed a blunder involving Vinny Dingle and Liv Flaherty from Tuesday’s episode.

Emmerdale viewers were left perplexed after Vinny Dingle (played by Bradley Johnson) paid a visit to Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) in hospital on Tuesday’s episode. Liv, who was wrongfully imprisoned for the murder of Ben Tucker (Simon Lennon), was viciously attacked by an inmate and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Vinny, her distraught boyfriend, rushed to the hospital to see her, but viewers noticed a gaffe as he walked into her room.

Liv was brutally assaulted after she asked her violent cellmate for alcohol.

The assault occurred just hours after Vinny paid her a visit in prison to inform her that she would have to spend the rest of her life behind bars unless Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) wakes up and reveals the truth about her murderous sister Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu).

Vinny was desperate to see how Liv was doing in Tuesday’s episode of the ITV soap.

Two police officers were guarding her room as he walked into the hospital to see her.

Officers were forced to stand outside her room because they believe she is responsible for Ben’s murder, despite the fact that Meena was the one who killed him.

Vinny, who was visibly upset, told the officers: “Vinny Dingle, you should have me on your visitor’s list. I had a conversation with the inmates.”

Viewers, on the other hand, pointed out that Vinny was allowed to walk into her room without having to show proof of identification.

@Itsnotbetty fumed: “Vinny storms in announcing he should be on visiting list as he spoke to prison people. No name asked for. He just walks into the room. No mask as per usual. #emmerdale”

Elizabeth Scott added: “@emmerdale How on earth is Vinny able to march through a hospital with no mask?”

David M said: “#Emmerdale can someone tell why Vinny is so obsessed with Liv? And does the rest of the family know she’s in hospital?”

Grianne Doherty commented: “Has Liam actually even been interviewed as yet seriously? He literally walked in on Meena desperately trying to kill Manpreet and Vinny.

Might not be enough to prove Liv’s not also a killer but surely enough to have her arrested pending further enquires at least? #Emmerdale”Dom remarked: “Shouldn’t they be wearing masks in the hospital? #Emmerdale”

During the scenes, a despondent Liv said: “I should be made up, shouldn’t I?

“Just enjoying that I’m in prison where I’m probably going to spend the rest of my life.

“And I’m probably going to die inside, like my dad. I needed a drink, again.

“And I was going to do whatever it took to get hold of one, again.”

She added: “You know what’s funny, well ironic. She really laid into me. Don’t get me wrong, I pushed her into it deliberately.”

Liv explained that she provoked her cellmate because she needed a distraction from her desire for alcohol.
