Emmerdale exit as Vinny Dingle’s sent to prison in Meena plot twist?

Vinny Dingle may soon find himself in legal trouble as he goes to great lengths to clear Liv Flaherty’s name on EMMERDALE. Is it possible that Vinny will end up in prison?

Fans of the ITV soap Emmerdale have been hoping to see serial killer Meena Jutla (played by Paige Sandhu) brought to justice soon. After her attempt to kill her sister Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) and Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) failed, the villainous nurse has gone on the run. Vinny and Manpreet have given police statements since their ordeal, claiming Meena confessed to multiple crimes, including the murder of Ben Tucker (Simon Lennon). Despite Meena being the real killer, Vinny has been desperately trying to get his girlfriend Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) released from prison after she was convicted of Ben’s murder. The police, on the other hand, have stated that they lack sufficient evidence to overturn Liv’s conviction. Vinny came up with the idea to plant evidence that could incriminate Meena in shocking scenes on Tuesday night’s episode. Is it possible that if the cops catch him, he will be arrested?

Vinny made it clear that he was desperate to get Liv out of prison on Tuesday night when he asked Manpreet to lie to the cops.

Manpreet became increasingly enraged when he refused to go along with his plan.

“All that matters is that we know Liv didn’t kill Ben,” Vinny fumed.

“Yes, we do and I have told that to the police,” Manpreet replied.

Vinny hit back: “You don’t know how close to the edge she is.”

“I do know Vinny. I feel terribly guilty about what’s happened to Liv. Meena is my sister and I’ll never forgive myself,” Manpreet insisted.

“You must have missed something, some sort of detail that’ll point them to evidence,” Vinny said.

“I was drugged to the eyeballs. I’ve forced myself to remember, but the detail of what she did to Ben is fuzzy still,” Manpreet explained.

“That’s not enough!” Vinny shouted.

Seeing Manpreet become tearful, he quickly apologised: “I’m sorry, okay? I’m sorry.”

Vinny, on the other hand, shocked Manpreet even more when he suggested planting evidence.

“Let’s go outside and plant something.” He proposed, “Let’s get something with Meena’s DNA and put it where she killed Ben.”

Manpreet, on the other hand, quickly stopped him in his tracks, insisting, “We can’t.” It’s not going to work. It’ll only make Liv’s situation ten times worse.

“Come on, you’re not thinking straight,” she said.
