Emmerdale exit for Laurel Thomas after being made homeless by Kim Tate?

Laurel Thomas, an EMMERDALE favorite, may be forced to flee the village if Kim Tate makes her homeless.

Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) and Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) from Emmerdale have been through a lot recently, and their relationship is on the rocks. On the ITV soap, Jai has been forced to take drastic measures to deal with his financial problems in recent months. Since the HOP (Hawksford Outdoor Pursuits) was ordered to pay a massive fine following a series of incidents at the survival challenge, the businessman has been on the verge of bankruptcy.

Jai took out a £50,000 loan in Laurel’s name after he was unable to come up with the money himself.

When Laurel discovered someone had attempted to take out a loan, she informed the bank, forcing Jai to admit what he’d done.

As a result, Laurel began to cover up for her love, and when the bank called, she panicked and decided to take the fall.

She claimed she had forgotten about the loan because she was drunk and insisted it had been taken out by her.

Laurel may have covered for Jai, but she didn’t forgive him, and she eventually ejected him from the house.

In the meantime, Kim Tate (Claire King) informed the couple that she had to sell their home.

The couple, who rent the house from Kim, is heartbroken at the prospect of losing their family home.

Kim explained that after purchasing Charity Dingle’s (Emma Atkins) haulage share, she needed to free up some cash.

While viewers thought Kim was planning to buy The Woolpack, she was actually hatching a different scheme.

Jai pleaded with Kim to reconsider selling the house, but she was adamant in her decision.

In an attempt to try and change her mind, Jai pleaded: “Kim, you don’t need to sell Mulberry.”

“What, when was that decided?” Gabby said in shock as Kim replied: “That’s what I wanted to tell you, Gabby.

“I have instructed an estate agent and I am sorry I need to liquidate an asset.”

Fans were underwhelmed by Kim’s news, and many took to social media to express their displeasure.

Many people believe that Kim’s actions will result in Laurel’s homelessness.

Mike tweeted: “Laurel could be homeless because Kim is selling the house.”

Ryan raged: “Kim cannot sell Laurel’s home. Laurel had memories with Ashley in that house.”

While Lucas said: “I just don’t believe Kim is so out of money that she needs to sell Laurel’s house so urgently.”

Laurel was devastated by Jai’s betrayal and the news that Kim was selling the house, but the cafe owner’s situation is about to deteriorate.

In upcoming scenes, Laurel fights back tears as she realizes she’ll have to leave the village to find a new home.

To add insult to injury, Kim later informs her that she has found a buyer for their house and gives them 30 days notice to vacate.

Kim asked Jai for his shares in the HOP in exchange for enough money to pay off his loan and put a deposit on Mulberry to help him out of his financial bind.

Jai is passionate about his company, and it would take a lot for him to give it up.

With Kim evicting her and Jai betraying Laurel yet again, she may be forced to leave the village permanently.
