Emmerdale fans spot blunder as Meena gives chilling confession to vicar Charles

On tonight’s Emmerdale, Meena Jutla continued her chilling act by shockingly recalling the details of Andrea Tate’s murder.

Paige Sandhu’s cold-blooded killer has been imprisoned since she was apprehended for her killing spree after ambushing past lover Billy Fletcher’s wedding to his new beau Dawn Taylor.

We saw vicar Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) pay a visit to Meena in prison on tonight’s episode of the ITV soap.

She had previously referred to him as begging for forgiveness when she really just wanted to play with his emotions.

“I don’t think you could handle the truth,” Meena said of killing Andrea Tate.

Charles responded as he said: “Try me”

She began by describing the evil murder, saying, “Like how she fought so desperately for her life?” Or how she felt about her Daughter in the final moments of her life. Maybe I wouldn’t have had to kill Andrea if she’d just shut up.”

Meena continued in a chilling manner, spilling details from the night she took yet another life.

“At one point, I thought she was going to get away,” she said. However, she took a wrong turn, and I was able to trap her.

“I could tell by the look on her face. As I dragged her, I felt my hope dwindle.

“The thud of her head on the stairwell.”

The vicar was visibly distressed as he stated that he didn’t need to know the details, but Meena was clearly relishing the opportunity to make him uncomfortable.

“But you do,” she replied, “and how can I be forgiven if I don’t say anything?” Furthermore, it feels good to get it off my chest. As if a burden had been lifted.

“You have no idea how her screams continue to haunt me to this day.”

When I started the fire, I thought I had left her for dead. But, based on what the cops told me, clearly not.”

“You’re enjoying this!” Charles exclaimed, recognizing Meena for the true monster she is. “You’re a cold-blooded assassin.”

Meena responded, ” “So there you have it. This is where I make my confession.”

Fans couldn’t help but be distracted while Meena was confessing to the heinous crime, and they took to Twitter to point out a blunder in the scene.

“Surely the prison officers are overhearing what this nut job is confessing to?” Nats wondered.

Pamela expressed herself as follows: “The officers in charge of the prison are listening in. Are they sworn to secrecy or are they able to testify in court? Does #Emmerdale count? “

“Whatever Meena tells Charles is between them, God, and the prison officers standing close enough to hear every word she says #emmerdale,” Estella said.

“If I were the prosecution, I’d call the two prison officers standing next to the table where Meena is loudly confessing to the murders.. #Emmerdale,” another user said.
