Emmerdale fans spot clue Andrea Tate still alive and working with Leyla to take down Meena

EMMERDALE fans believe they’ve discovered evidence that Andrea Tate is still alive and has been collaborating with Leyla Harding to bring Meena Jutla down.

Meena Jutla (played by Paige Sandhu) is on trial for murder, and while some ITV viewers are worried that she will get away with it, others are confident. Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) and Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) are working together to bring the killers to justice. The Emmerdale criminal was in court, with Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) testifying against her. Both were perplexed when Leyla excused herself to take a phone call, claiming it was for work, but viewers believe it was Andrea.

Andrea was attacked in the maize maze in October 2021, and the residents of the village believe she died.

She was said to have been burned in the blaze after being hit in the head by Meena.

However, because her body was never shown on screen, some fans of the long-running soap believe she is still alive.

She could have stayed hidden until it was time to prove how evil Meena is if she didn’t want to put herself or her family in any more danger.

It’s no surprise, then, that viewers believe the former wedding planner has been assisting boss Leyla in proving Meena’s guilt.

“I’m so sorry, I’ve got to take this it’s work again,” Leyla told Manpreet and Liam in Friday’s episode.”

“Hi, I thought I was supposed to be ringing you?” she asked the caller as she walked away.

“I’m afraid I can’t, at least not right now.” What do you think? Okay, I’ll see you later.”

Leyla abruptly ended the call and didn’t mention it again, but the call’s mysterious nature drew viewers’ attention.

Could “work” be code for Andrea, her former coworker at Take a Vow where they both worked?

Many people took to Twitter to claim Andrea was on the other end of the line.

“Next week looks so good it’s finally Meena’s trial hopefully it’ll be the end of the line for her and she’ll finally go down for her crimes,” Ryan Glendenning wrote.

“Meena has gotten away with it for far too long. Andrea is Alive, and I believe she will return in a shocking twist to take the stand on #Emmerdale.”

“#emmerdale,” Riley Collins added. Yes, I am aware that Meena’s trial will be lengthy and difficult. BUT THOSE OUTFITS ARE MY LIFE.

“Also, this Meena/prison guard thing won’t last long; someone will catch them.” I’m also pretty sure Leyla is a Meena/Andrea employee.”

“Layla would not be having an affair I believe it is her best mate Andrea under police protection #Emmerdale,” Yvonne wrote.

“Anyone have any theories about who Leyla was on the phone to in @emmerdale? There’s something telling me Andrea is still alive,” Sabina speculated.

“The whole Charles&Manpreet thing at her grave, Manpreet saying Meena “won’t know what’s coming,” then someone hurrying out of Hazel’s?” #Emmerdale #Meena.”

“I wonder… is Leyla taking Andrea’s phone calls?” Melanie added. We never saw her body, and Charles conveniently forgot about her today…. #Emmerdale.”

Carol Hamilton tweeted, “Hope Andrea is still alive and comes in and finishes Meena and this storyline!!#Emmerdale.”

Fans will have to wait and see if Andrea and Leyla are cooperating, but even if they aren’t, Meena’s trial is set to end in a dramatic manner, regardless of the outcome.
