Emmerdale heartbreak as betrayal tears couple apart?

Viewers of EMMERDALE may soon see a well-loved couple break up after one of them betrays the other in upcoming scenes.

On the ITV soap, Emmerdale’s Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) will do something he will come to regret. For weeks, Vinny has been attempting to prove his girlfriend Liv Flaherty’s (Isobel Steele) innocence after she was charged with Ben Tucker’s murder (Simon Lennon). Vinny finds himself lying to Liv about a court hearing because he’s afraid she’ll start drinking again in yet-to-air scenes. When she discovers the truth, how will she react?

Although Liv has been charged with Ben’s murder, it was serial killer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) who killed him.

Meena’s sister Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker), who is still in a coma after a car accident, was the only witness to her murder confession.

Manpreet wakes up in the next scene, but Vinny’s hopes for Liv’s release from her cell are dashed.
A detective asks Manpreet to recite specific details about Ben’s death that Meena may have revealed.

However, Vinny is upset when the detective informs him that Liv will not be released due to a lack of concrete evidence.

Soon after, Manpreet is taken aback when Vinny pays her a visit in the hospital and asks her to lie to the cops.

However, the next day, Liv informs Vinny that a court hearing has been requested due to the discovery of new evidence.

Vinny agrees to inform Liv’s brother Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) of the good news, but is soon concerned.

Aaron left the village after the tragic death of his boyfriend Ben, as Emmerdale fans will recall.

He said at the time that because of Liv’s murder charge, he couldn’t keep an eye out for her.

Liv has been hoping that the latest news about Ben’s death will bring him back, despite the fact that he hasn’t returned.

So she asks Vinny to inform Aaron, and he agrees.

When Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) informs them that Aaron will not be arriving, Vinny becomes concerned that his absence will prompt her to drink again.

As the hearing date approaches, Liv prepares to leave her prison cell, confident that Aaron will be present.

Vinny is still concerned about informing Liv that Aaron will not be attending the hearing.

However, he is unable to burst her bubble and instead informs her that Aaron is on his way.

When Liv realizes Vinny has been lying to her, how will she react?

Will she end their relationship as a result of his betrayal?

Could the character become an alcoholic after discovering the truth?
