Emmerdale horror as Charles Anderson exits after killing Manpreet Sharma?

EMMERDALE’S After his attempt to save a character’s life ends in tragedy, Charles Anderson may be compelled to leave the village.

In recent weeks, Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) has become increasingly anxious about Manpreet Sharma’s (Rebecca Sarker) movements in Emmerdale. The vicar decided to go seeking for Manpreet, who was being held captive in a barn by her psychotic sister Meena Jutla, in Thursday’s double bill of the ITV soap (Paige Sandhu). Charles, on the other hand, was involved in a tragic event that may have killed Manpreet.

Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) finds Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) and Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) tied up within Meena’s lair in the spectacular double bill.

However, after Manpreet informed Liam that Meena had killed his daughter Leanna (Mimi Slinger) by shoving her from a bridge last year, Meena opted to flee into surrounding woods to evade the consequences of her terrible conduct.

Liam was enraged and chased the villain through the woods, leaving Manpreet and Vinny to fend for themselves.

When Charles met Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley), they were trying to figure out where Vinny had gone missing.

The vicar said: “Everything alright? Is there anything I could do to help?”

Dawn replied: “Not unless you know where Vinny’s gone.”

“Or Liam come to that,” interjected a concerned Billy.

Billy said that they were hunting for Meena, who “needed locking up,” to Charles, who was perplexed as to why the two were AWOL.

Fans of Emmerdale will recall that on Wednesday night’s episode of the ITV soap, Billy learned Meena was pretending to be carrying his unborn child, which is what he told Charles.

Dawn explained that she did it because Meena is “a maniac” to Charles when he inquired why she would do anything so heinous.

“Rishi [Sharma] (Bhasker Patel) stated he’s had a horrible feeling about Manpreet because of the manner she abruptly vanished without warning,” Charles explained.

“And since then he’s had messages from her, but passed on by Meena. Where was Liam going when you last saw him?”

Billy was supposed to meet with Meena to talk about her phony pregnancy, but she texted him her location, which he relayed to Charles.

“Manpreet could be in danger, and I need to find her,” Charles said to the pair before getting into his car and driving off to look for her.

When he reached the distant spot in the dark, he began looking for Manpreet when he noticed someone running out into the road.

Because Charles was unable to stop in time, the figure collided with his windscreen and died on the side of the road.

Charles came to a halt and dashed towards the guy he may have killed with his car.

Meena, who was last seen running from Liam in the woods, appeared to be the victim, but it turned out the serial killer had climbed into a lorry and departed the area.

Is it possible that Charles accidentally killed Manpreet, his ex-girlfriend?

The vicar loves Manpreet dearly, which is why he went hunting for her in the first place, and he would be lost without her.

Will he choose to leave Emmerdale if the sadness becomes too much for him to bear?
