Emmerdale icon Manpreet Sharma killed off-screen as Meena gets revenge in exit twist?

EMMERDALE icon Manpreet Sharma might have survived her sister Meena Jutla’s deadly ordeal at the beginning of this year, however, it seems as she makes an exit from the ITV soap, the killer could take revenge away from the camera.

Manpreet (played by Rebecca Sarker) will make her grand return to the village next week as she tries to get her life back on track after being tortured by her sister and Emmerdale villain Meena (Paige Sandhu) (Paige Sandhu). She will eventually struggle to carry out everyday tasks after being laid up in the hospital, as everything reminds her of what the serial killer did. However, if she ends up making an exit from the ITV soap, it seems her deranged sibling could track her down and end up murdering her in an attempt to finally complete her mission.

The drama will premiere next week on the weeknight serial drama, and it has already been confirmed that Meena will be returning to the village after a brief absence.

With unfinished business, it seems she will want to unburden herself of some of her unresolved issues with several villagers.

As the serial killer meticulously plans her next steps, Manpreet tries to rebuild her relationship with Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) (Kevin Mathurin).

They try to remain united, however, with so much pain still weighing heavy on her shoulders, the General Practitioner decides they should leave the village.

Not too keen on the idea having finally managed to call the Dales home, it seems Charles will try and dissuade his lover over making an exit.

Despite the fact that many of those who care about her will see her put on a brave face, it will be clear that Manpreet is in serious trouble.

Her physical state is also extremely frail, and she is filled with anxiety that her sister could return at any moment.

Manpreet could leave the village quietly, knowing she couldn’t live like this forever and unable to say goodbye to her loved ones.

She has no idea that her sister is watching her every move and will follow her to her next location in order to exact revenge.

Meena was hellbent on prolonging her sister’s death for as long as she could, from Christmas to the moment she was discovered.

Meena explained that she did this because she wanted them to spend some quality time together and she wanted to make the most of Manpreet’s death.

Unfortunately, when Liam Cavanagh (Johnny McPherson) discovered the serial killer was holding his neighbor hostage, he put a stop to it.

Meena would finally be able to finish the job she started just after Christmas if Manpreet was on her own again.

However, in order to avoid alarming her frail sister, the serial killer would have to devise a sneak attack that would catch her off guard.

It would be a cruel twist because Manpreet would believe she was finally free of her pain and suffering and could turn a new leaf.

This would take place off-screen, with news of Manpreet’s death reaching the village when the body is discovered, so viewers would not see it.

Meena could dump her sister’s body in the middle of the village if she wants people to know she’s still out there and more dangerous than ever.

There was only one person who would ever want to kill Manpreet, so there would be no doubt in their minds that this was the work of a serial killer.

As the police try to track down the murderer before she kills again, people like Charles will be left grieving for their loss.

Could this be the end for both Manpreet and Meena, as the murderous character is exposed for her crimes?

Following recent scenes on the show, viewers have taken to Twitter to express their thoughts on what would happen if Manpreet left.

“I hope Manpreet survives #Emmerdale,” Dion wrote on the social media platform.

Wini, on the other hand, added, “Catching up on #Emmerdale.” If Manpreet dies and Meena isn’t apprehended, I’m going to lose it!”

“So, let me get this right…,” Sophisticating said.

Manpreet was half-starved, dehydrated, and pumped full of diazepam as he recovered from the pub explosion.

“She then almost choked to death on carbon monoxide and got hit by a car…and is still alive?? #Emmerdale,” they continued.

Dan The Chatterbox commented: “Manpreet better not die #emmerdale.”

Rebecca, who plays Manpreet, said she fell asleep on set while filming the scenes where she was laid up in a hospital bed following the Woolpack explosion on Christmas Day.

The actress said: “I was hooked up to all the medical equipment for a scene and I dozed off.

“So many people told me beforehand that they’d done the same and I just said, ‘No! I’d never do that, I’m too professional.’

“It was so cosy, I couldn’t help it. I was woken up by the medical adviser stroking my arm, telling me it was time for tea break!

“Luckily I didn’t snore. I’d have been mortified,” the soap star told OK! Magazine, recalling what could have been her last few weeks filming on the show.
