Emmerdale legend Kim Tate thrown out of Home Farm as new owners unveiled?

THE FIERCE WOMAN OF EMMERDALE Kim Tate is a force to be reckoned with, and anyone who crosses her path will learn a valuable lesson, but how will she react when her hands are tied in the takeover of Home Farm?

Kim (Claire King) is currently living Riley’s life on Emmerdale, as she is content in her relationship with Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) and has delegated the aftermath of the Survival Challenge payout to Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson), who is the majority shareholder at the Hop. As a result, she currently believes her finances are secure and that no one is attempting to defraud her. However, in upcoming scenes on the ITV soap, she may be the one who is taught a harsh lesson as her life crumbles in front of her as some familiar faces return to the village to exact their revenge.

To begin with, her finances may be jeopardized if Jai does everything he can to obtain funds to pay the money owed to him by the courts.

Knowing Kim has the cash in the bank, he could commit identity fraud to ensure she contributes to the payment of the charges, leaving him bankrupt.

Trying to be Kim would be difficult because he would need access to her money and assets, but as a man on a mission, he would succeed.

Unfortunately, as he slyly puts Home Farm up for sale, he may become greedy, with the ruthless businesswoman having no idea what’s going on.

When the new owners arrive to move all of their belongings in, she would be completely caught off guard because she would have never considered selling the property.

Her supposedly dead son Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) could walk through the door before she can investigate what has happened.

The father of two could explain that he has been living outside of the village because he does not want to be around his mother.

However, seeing Home Farm for sale would have been too good an opportunity to pass up, so he would have contacted someone else he knows who wants Kim’s revenge.

Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) would walk in, having fled the Dales after a ruthless businesswoman attempted to assassinate him a few years ago.

He’s already taken money from Kim in the past, when he was using her money in an off-shore account to fund his life away from the UK.

The possibility of the two characters returning in the future has been left open, and this could be the ideal way for them to do so.

Kim would have to track down the person who appears to have screwed her over while dealing with the fact that her son is alive and standing in front of her.

Female assassin Kim will also have to figure out how all of this happened right in front of her eyes and without her knowledge.

After learning that it was Jai who had wronged her, the businesswoman must decide who she will target for vengeance, as all three men are on her hit list.

Will she be relieved that her son is alive, or will she be enraged that he has been hiding from her with her granddaughter, Millie Tate (Willow Bell)?

Claire, who plays Kim, recently spoke out about what Jamie’s return to the village could mean for her and how it will affect the entire community.

Jamie’s possible return was explained by Claire in an interview: “Nobody has told me [the specifics], but I’m sure it will be exciting.

“I believe the Jamie situation will resurface, as Kim believes Jamie is dead and hasn’t seen Millie – I’m sure she’ll want to see her granddaughter.

“She will have a way of trying to find her. But I don’t know,” she told OK! Magazine so could the explosive storyline see her ‘dead son and Joe make their long-awaited returns?

Jamie will become a focal point of 2022, according to the show’s producers, who spoke with Express.co.uk and other media recently.

Laura Shaw elaborated: “Up at Home Farm, we know Jamie Tate is still alive, so we’re waiting for more information – and what will Kim do once she finds out?

“We all know Kim is a tough cookie, but we also know Jamie is her weak spot.

“If she ever finds out how much he has betrayed her, we can expect huge fireworks,” the producer added, hinting at some fiery confrontations between the mother and son.

Alexander, who plays Jamie, was last seen on the show in November of last year, following Andrea Tate’s death (Anna Nightingale).

Millie, his daughter, had been living with Kim and he had been working with his late wife’s mother to get her back into his custody.

It was announced at the time of his last appearance on the soap that he would not be returning any time soon.

An Emmerdale spokesperson said: “Although there are no current plans for the character of Jamie Tate to return to Emmerdale, the audience now has the proof Jamie Tate is still alive and at large.”

The show’s producers are known for throwing in a few surprise returns from time to time, which are kept hidden from viewers until the show airs.

Jamie and Joe collaborating and returning at the same time would be a surprise to no one, but will they get along or are they a match made in hell?
