Following the events of Thursday night’s hour-long episode, EMMERDALE newbie Fiona Murphy could be on her way to having an affair with Charity Dingle, as she appears to be on a revenge mission.
In Thursday night’s dramatic episode, Fiona (played by Yemisi Oyinloye) made her return to the Emmerdale village as Vanessa Woodfield’s new lover (Michelle Hardwick).
She has previously appeared on the ITV soap as the woman Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) slept with a few months earlier when he and his partner, Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh), we’re having problems.
When the secret was revealed at the end of the episode, Charity (Emma Atkins) rubbed her hands with delight, but Fiona may set her eyes on the village vixen as she plots revenge on the stalwart for wrecking her love.
Vanessa was overjoyed for her loved ones to finally meet Fiona after such a long time in the latest episode of the weeknight serial drama.
The charity was enraged before the newcomer came, as she appeared to be envious of her ex-new girlfriend’s relationship.
Despite the fact that she is now dating Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), she was plainly curious to see who Vanessa was with, which her boyfriend picked up on.
Charity’s jealousy skyrocketed when Fiona arrived in the hamlet, and she devised excuses to observe her old lover from Mackenzie’s garden.
With her curiosity piqued, she went to The Hop, where Vanessa, Tracy, Nate, and Fiona were supposed to be having lunch.
However, she and Mackenzie stood by and watched as Nate and Fiona appeared to be having a passionate dispute, despite the fact that the troubled couple had no idea what was going on.
The newcomer was being told to go by Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) son, who didn’t want her in the hamlet because Tracy could find out they slept together.
When Charity questioned the couple, they said that they were in the middle of a passionate football argument because they backed opposing clubs.
She wasn’t buying it, but there was clearly a spark between the two women at this point, as neither of them was willing to back down.
Charity and Mackenzie walked away, deciding to leave them to it, and it wasn’t until later that they dropped the mother of all bombshells.
Charity approached Vanessa and Tracy in high spirits, and the tension between Fiona and Nate was palpable even without saying anything.
As Nate said he would explain, Fiona told him to “shut up” but the sisters wanted answers about how their partners knew each other.
“We’ve slept together,” the newcomer declared, explaining it was only once and it was whilst she and Vanessa were on a break.
Charity and Mackenzie backed away now that the secret was out in the open, knowing they had done their duty by causing some havoc.
Both couples were clearly going to divorce by the end of the hour-long program, with Vanessa instructing the cheaters to leave the house.
This means Fiona will most likely be a single lady in the future, and she may choose to stay in the village for a little longer.
If she decides to stay, she may seek to exact revenge on Charity for shattering the one solid relationship in her life.
As a result, she might begin studying the stalwart and take notes on what flaws she can exploit to carry out her plan.
One of these could be Mackenzie’s insecurity about their relationship since he believes she would cheat on him.
Fiona might use this information to make it her mission to push them apart, just like Charity did to her and Vanessa.
The newcomer may start flirting with Charity and organizing get-togethers for the two of them to get to know one other better.
As the steadfast recognizes her chemistry with Fiona, she may find herself fighting the impulse to let passion take over.
Thinking about how Mackenzie would respond if she cheated would only serve as a deterrent for as long as Charity’s track record shows she is untrustworthy.
She could succumb to temptation and start an affair with the newcomer, who gives her the spark she’d lost with her partner.
Fiona, on the other hand, would make it plain that she is sleeping with the legendary villager in order for Mackenzie to learn the truth about his girlfriend.
Mackenzie would regard this as a great betrayal and terminate the relationship on the instant, having told him she would never cheat.
Charity may feel terrible, but she knows she can seek comfort from her boyfriend, as she believes they would make a fine couple.
Fiona could find she’s been duped at this point, and she has no intention of the following Charity any further.
Charity’s life has been destroyed, and she may have a long road of redemption ahead of her as she tries to make right for her mistakes.
Will anyone, however, forgive her?
