Since his departure from Emmerdale amid poignant scenes, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) has been missing her son Aaron (Danny Miller).
So when she receives communication from him in the form of a letter, she is overjoyed – but when it disappears, she wonders if devious Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) has thrown it away.
She asks Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) if Al would really be so foolish while she searches for it, but he doesn’t respond.
So there’s your answer!
Al, on the other hand, isn’t done yet. He has sabotaged emails from Marlon (Mark Charnock) that describe the offer to customers in order to cause a rift in the team.
Marlon sent out emails offering a free glass of champagne, but Al changed the message to offer a bottle instead.
Chas is enraged, knowing that this would result in a loss of revenue — and that consumers will be savoring the bubbly at their leisure.
She refuses to blame Marlon and is aware of what Al has done, which enrages her to the point of hurling a bottle against the wall.
Another one is on its way. Profits suffer as a result.
But when Al tightens the screws, he’ll only get worse.
