Emmerdale spoilers: Charity Dingle grows closer to ex Vanessa Woodfield leaving Mackenzie Boyd fuming

Vanessa Woodfield has exposed some of Mackenzie Boyd’s major fears since her return to the Dales.

And things aren’t going to get any better as Charity Dingle appears to be getting closer to her ex-boyfriend.

For the past few months, Charity and Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) had been dating.

When Charity (Emma Atkins) was still engaged to Vanessa, the two kissed for the first time (Michelle Hardwick).

This has produced long-term animosity between the two women, especially because Vanessa was facing cancer at the time. She ultimately made her way out of the village.

While both mothers are having difficulty getting along, their boys, Johnny and Moses, are getting along fine.

According to Mackenzie, the link could lead to reconciliation.

Vanessa’s son Johnny will ask Charity for a playdate with her own son Moses in an upcoming episode of Emmerdale, which will air next week (January 17, 2022).

Charity will once again put her foot in it with Vanessa, escalating the tensions.

Insecure Mackenzie, on the other hand, will be envious of the boys’ playdate, feeling that Charity and Vanessa’s bond is still existent.

What will Charity’s reaction be to Mackenzie’s enmity?

Is there any reason for Mackenzie to be afraid of Vanessa?
Since Vanessa returned to the Dales, Moira’s long-lost brother has felt out of place.

Vanessa returned to Emmerdale in December 2021, just in time for New Year’s Eve.

Vanessa was instantly confronted with Charity and Mackenzie kissing on the streets directly in front of her car, which was stressful.

Vanessa, on the other hand, was not alone in paying a visit to her half-sister Tracy, as she was joined by her son Johnny… and a new girlfriend.

When Fiona’s girlfriend admits to having a one-night fling with Tracy’s fiancé, Nate Robinson, during a break with Vanessa, she decides to call it quits and support her sister after Nate’s infidelity is uncovered.

Vanessa has also barred Johnny from seeing Charity, despite the fact that she adopted him while the two were still together.

Vanessa was approached by Charity, who attempted to make amends with her during her stay in the village, which she declared to Rishi was permanent.

Charity also revealed the truth: her relationship with Mackenzie pales in comparison to her bond with Vanessa.

In last night’s (January 11, 2022) episode of Emmerdale, Charity showed her support for Tracy, who is still reeling from Nate’s betrayal.

Is it possible for Charity and Vanessa to restore their relationship?
