Emmerdale spoilers: Laurel Thomas makes devastating decision about living in the village after Jai betrayal

As viewers are aware, the assistant manager at The Hide Cafe has been experiencing financial difficulties for some months as a result of the businessman.

Laurel was horrified when the merchant eventually acknowledged to unlawfully taking out a loan in her name earlier this month.

To pay the Hop fine, Jai took out a £50,000 loan in his partner’s name.

When the mother of two tried to get a mortgage to buy Mulberry Cottage, her application was turned down.

Jai attempted to conceal the facts, but when she revealed her plans to notify the cops, she ultimately admitted what had transpired.

For Laurel, things will hit a breaking point next week.
She realizes she won’t be able to buy any of the houses in the community and feels she’ll have to leave the Dales.

To make matters worse, Kim Tate informs her that Mulberry Cottage has been sold and they have 30 days to vacate.

The entrepreneur then claims that if Jai provides her shares in the Hop, he will be able to pay off his loan and make a deposit on the cottage.

Will Jai and Laurel be able to stay in the community as a result of this?
