Tonight, DS Rogers continued his questioning, determined to find enough evidence to prove Meena was responsible for killing Ben, Leanna and Andrea.
And he did.
Thanks to Liam (Jonny McPherson) figuring out the connection between Meena and the box found on the allotment, DS Rogers was able to organise a thorough forensic examination on the box and everything inside.
DS Rogers showed Meena photos of Leanna’s ring, Ben and Andrea’s bracelets, and a photo of the body camera from survival week at the station.
Meena, as expected, denied everything, claiming she’s a kleptomaniac, which explains why she has so many things she doesn’t own.
Fortunately, DS Rogers had enough evidence to bring Meena down, proving that she stole items from Leanna, Ben, and Andrea after they were killed.
Meena was apprehended and listened as DS Rogers accused her of attempted murder, murder, possession of an unlicensed firearm, kidnap, false imprisonment, and assaulting a police officer.
What a long list!
As the episode came to a close, Charles was in church when he received a phone call.
When the call from the prison came in, Meena was on the other end of the line.
Meena took advantage of Charles’ faith by telling him she needed his assistance in finding forgiveness and redemption.
‘As a man of God, I beg you,’ she said.
Charles was stunned, but will he lend a hand to Meena and fall for her obvious deception?
