Meanwhile Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) in Emmerdale is still haunted by the death of Di Malone, the detective who was slain in self-defense by his daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley).
When Kim Tate (Claire King) found that Will had buried Malone on the site of Home Farm, she was shocked, and she subsequently left the community for a break, leaving Will fearful of what she may do.
However, when the body goes missing, he is scared of finding out who has discovered it. However, it turns out that Kim was involved.
Bernice gives Will an optimistic look on Christmas morning as he feels the pressure to make a decision.
Simon, the show’s runner-up, enthused about his time on the ITV reality show.
Later, as he and Kim approach Malone’s grave, he is shocked to discover it newly dug up and fears that this could be part of Kim’s retaliation if she truly did hear something damning.
However, she discloses that she removed the body so that Will is no longer linked to her and may choose whether or not to stay.
Will is moved by the gesture, and when he proposes to Kim, it is evident that he has made his decision. There’s nothing like rearranging a body to get you in the mood for love.
