In forthcoming scenes on the ITV soap, Belle Dingle could be prepared to murder serial killer Meena Jutla, as the Dingle family is lured into the psychotic character’s murky world.
Belle (Eden-Taylor Draper) has been taking a back seat to the drama on Emmerdale of late, having only recently returned to the foreground of the drama when her love interest, Ellis Chapman, left her out in the cold all night (Aaron Anthony).
The young woman has a strong sense of family loyalty, and she is always ready to fight for any member of the renowned ITV soap family. Her past, however, may come back to haunt her in future episodes of the village drama, as she may be the one to bring Meena (Paige Sandhu) down as the serial killer’s reign of terror comes to an end.
The murderer realized Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) was starting to fit the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle together in Thursday night’s episodes of the weekday serial drama.
She’ll abduct him next week and throw him in a barn with her sister, Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker), whom Meena kidnapped during the holidays.
The villain plans to gas them both since she has to get rid of them swiftly and needs to kill two birds with one stone.
However, by choosing Vinny as one of her victims, the killer may become an enemy of the Dingle clan, and she may be vulnerable to their wrath.
Belle, who has killed previously, albeit not on purpose, might be the one to put an end to the villain’s life because she has the ability to do it.
Paige, who portrays Meena, indicated a conflict with the Dingles could erupt very soon when asked about the possible double murder.
“She’s juggling so many things while also needing to keep her mask in the village,” the soap actor explained. “As we’ve seen, Rishi [Sharma] is quite skeptical of her.”
“Liam [Cavanagh] is starting to get suspicious, there’s Billy [Fletcher] and Dawn [Taylor] snooping around and with Vinny, that adds all of the Dingles into the mix.
“All of that is adding to the stress that she is feeling. But at the same time, she thrives off being spontaneous.
“It’s thrilling to her to be able to kill another person, which is horrible. There is both going on,” she added in an interview with Inside Soap.
Saying “all the Dingles” will be in the mix does suggest they are going to find out about what Meena has been up to.
If Vinny is slain, the village’s renowned family will not let bygones be bygones, and they will seek vengeance.
Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) may be able to dispatch the culprit with a snap of her fingers, but Belle may be able to swoop in before he reaches the murderer.
It’ll be a race to see who can strike first and gain the upper hand when the two women fight head-to-head.
Meena may believe she possesses the necessary skills to eliminate another Dingle, but she may be taken off surprise by the reality that she is up against another assassin.
Belle accidentally killed her best friend Gemma Andrews (Tendai Rinomhota) in 2014 during a fight over how much they both liked Sean Spencer (Luke Roskell).
When Gemma slapped her buddy across the face, Belle pushed her to the ground, oblivious to the fact that her friend would fall on a rock.
The young schoolgirl was struck in the head and began to bleed, but the two females were unconcerned and went their separate ways.
Gemma, on the other hand, never made it home after collapsing and was transported to the hospital for an emergency operation.
Dom Andrews’ (Will Johnson) daughter lost her brain stem function as a result of Belle’s activities, and her life support system was shut off.
Despite Dom’s vouching for her to make her more amenable to the jury, Belle was sentenced to three years in prison by the courts.
Belle has tried to get her life back on track since returning to the town and has taken on a new persona.
She’s become a more composed woman, one that her late mother, Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox), would be pleased of.
However, this merely demonstrates her ability to take a life, and witnessing Meena take Vinny’s could prompt her to revert to her former habits.
She could easily convince her family that she was the one who killed the villain, and they could assist her in concealing the body so the cops wouldn’t have to look into it.
The Dingle family would strive to forget about Belle’s sacrifice for the village’s sake.
No one would miss Meena because everyone knew she was possibly responsible for the deaths of five Dales figures.
Paige teased that her character will reveal all of her dark secrets to the village before leaving, saying, “It becomes clear that things aren’t working out for her, so she goes to her second plan, which is to reveal her true colors to everyone.
” “There’s something thrilling about that, that everyone will finally know about all the things she’s done,” she added.
