Emmerdale teases shock for Charity Dingle in Christmas storylines

Charity Dingle will be surprised over the holiday season, as her romance with Mackenzie Boyd becomes more serious, according to Emmerdale.

After Christmas Day, Charity’s son Ryan Stocks (James Moore) finds himself third-wheeling at his house as Charity (Emma Atkins) and Mack (Lawrence Robb) lounge on the sofa together, half-dressed, much to Ryan’s chagrin.

Mack makes the decision to tell Charity that he loves her, but is disappointed when she does not reciprocate. Charity does, however, eventually reveal to Mack that she loves him as well.

Charity, on the other hand, is soon left reeling when she learns something unexpected. What did she find out, and how will it effect her relationship with Mack?

The couple’s relationship hasn’t been easy thus far, with the two frequently collaborating on dubious plots and getting into heated disputes.

Despite Charity’s desire that the youngsters stay away from one other, Mack covered for Charity’s son Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) as he pursued a romance with Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland).

When Charity discovered that Mack had been buying condoms for Noah and assisting him in keeping his relationship with Chloe hidden, she confronted him and told him that they were no longer together, alleging that they hadn’t been “in a proper relationship” anyway.

Despite the fact that they appear to be happier than ever over the holidays, things might rapidly change for the pair – and they won’t be the only ones.

Sisters Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) and Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) appear to be heading for a showdown as Manpreet gets closer to discovering Meena’s killer secrets, while Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) and Kim Tate (Claire King) and Will Taylor are in for a surprise proposal (Dean Andrews).

At The Woolpack, there will be a horror when the bar catches fire – but can everyone survive the shock explosion?
