Emmerdale tragedy as Arthur Thomas goes missing in Laurel affair twist?

The ITV soap’s Laurel Thomas (played by Charlotte Bellamy) and Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) recently divorced, but the cafe owner’s eldest son Arthur (Alfie Clarke) has been left wondering why. The youngster has asked his mother why she kicked Jai out of the house, but Laurel decided it was in her son’s best interests to keep him safe from Jai’s criminal activities.

Jai was forced to take drastic measures to address his financial problems in recent months after the businessman was on the verge of bankruptcy.

Jai took out a £50,000 loan in Laurel’s name after he was unable to come up with the money himself.

When Jai admitted what he’d done, Laurel decided enough was enough and ejected him from the house.

Things got even worse when Kim Tate (Claire King) informed the couple that she was selling Mulberry, their beloved home.

In order to save his relationship, Jai sold his share of HOP to Kim in order to pay off the £50,000 loan and put a down payment on Laurel’s house.

However, the cafe owner turned down her ex’s offer, and Gabby (Rosie Bentham) ended up buying the house from Kim to keep Laurel and the kids from having to leave.

Gabby’s offer enraged Jai, who raged at Laurel, “So, you’ll let her buy the house for you, but not for me?”

Kim teased, “Seems so.” “If you ask me, it was a smart move. In the morning, I’ll contact the solicitors to get things started.

“I’ll leave you both to celebrate in the meantime.”

Things are about to get worse for Jai and Laurel, according to an official spoiler released by ITV.

Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) suffers a stroke while working at the pub and is rushed to the hospital in upcoming scenes.

While Laurel deals with the tragedy, Jai tries to help his ex get through the ordeal.

Jai realizes how much he misses his family when he is left to babysit the children.

Later, when she lies to her son Arthur about why she and Jai broke up, Laurel feels guilty.

The cafe owner tries to shield Arthur from Jai, whom he sees as a father figure.

Jai is optimistic that he can restore his relationship to its former glory, but Laurel is enraged.

Laurel is irritated by Jai’s belief that he can easily mend their relationship, and she ejects him from the cottage.

Meanwhile, Laurel is devastated when Arthur accuses his mother of having an affair and sleeping with another man.

Despite Jai’s efforts to educate the youngster, he may believe that his stepfather is attempting to cover for Laurel.

With their family already torn apart, things may become too much for Arthur, and he may flee, especially if he suspects his mother of cheating on Jai.

When Kim Tate asks Jai to work a shift waiting tables in the Hide, he is humiliated.
