Emmerdale twist as Mackenzie’s Boyd plan to destroy the Dingles exposed?

Mackenzie Boyd, the EMMERDALE troublemaker, has been like the cat with the cream recently on the ITV soap as he believes he will be in charge at the Woolpack now that Charity Dingle has taken over, but is there a more sinister plan in the works?

On Emmerdale, Mackenzie (played by Lawrence Robb) finally made his relationship with Charity (Emma Atkins) official a few weeks ago, but they ran into trouble again after the death of Ryan Stocks’ (James Moore) adoptive mother. The pair appeared to be back on track after some petty bickering and the return of Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), and the ITV soap troublemaker has taken command of the Woolpack. At the moment, it appears that his actions are benefiting his partner, but he could simply be putting on a poker face in order to ensure his ultimate demise.

Despite the fact that Charity and Ryan are the iconic establishment’s landlady and landlord, Mackenzie believes he has a right to say what happens because he is Charity’s boyfriend.

As a result, he decides to make some decisions that will affect the pub’s future in next week’s episodes of the weeknight serial drama.

The troublemaker approaches Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), knowing that the chef is looking for work after failing to reclaim his pub shares.

The beloved villager, who has been trying to think of ways to make money with his skills, decides to listen to Mackenzie.

He has negotiated a great deal that will allow him to return to the Woolpack as the head chef by the end of their conversation.

Although it appears that everyone will be pleased with the outcome, it will not be up to Mackenzie to decide who gets the part and what deal they can get.

This would be Charity’s fault, and as the pub’s grand reopening approaches, she may find herself without a chef.

Because Mackenzie did not go through the proper channels to bring Marlon on board, the pub landlady’s feud with her family members may indicate that she will not allow her cousin to work for her.

Once again, enraged at Charity’s obsession with her, the father of two may storm out, leaving his cousin in the lurch.

Mackenzie, on the other hand, maybe pleased to see all of this animosity unfold, as it is exactly what he had in mind all along.

Vanessa’s return to the village and Charity’s treatment of him following the death of Ryan’s adoptive mother could indicate that the troublemaker is plotting vengeance.

He realized that if he got back together with his girlfriend, he would be destroying her life from the inside out, which would have far-reaching consequences.

Because he has never been fully accepted by the Dingle family, he could have devised a way to enlist the help of as many members of the clan as possible.

As he sits back and watches the fireworks, his mission would be in progress, with the clan arguing and clear divisions.

Charity has already been teased that she will face more trouble when she faces off against another cousin, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

The Woolpack and the Bed and Breakfast, which Chas will soon be in charge of, will each put on a special event on the same day in upcoming scenes.

The cousins go to war with one another as they sabotage each other’s efforts because they are fighting over Charity becoming the landlady of the pub.

The culmination of their actions will result in a massive brawl as the two battle it out for supremacy.

As it becomes clear that the warring clan has no way back, all hell will break loose, and Mackenzie could be the rat they have yet to catch.

Will anyone notice that they are being pitted against each other by an unknown enemy with so much aggro, or will they continue to create divisions between them?

Producer Laura Shaw teased the Dingles’ demise in interviews with Express.co.uk and other outlets earlier this year.

“There’s a lot going on for the Dingles as we head into 2022,” the soap’s executive producer said. Two of our most beloved Dingles are about to face major life changes that will have far-reaching consequences for the entire village.

“Over the course of 2022 and into 2023, the effects of this will be long-lasting.”

“We’ll see drama, joy, fun, laughter, agony, pain, grief, and despair hit this family in the coming months.”

“They’ll be pulled in a lot of different directions this year and will be at the center of our biggest stories,” she said, but could they all be victims of Mackenzie’s evil schemes?

Lawrence, who plays Mackenzie, has spoken out about his character’s relationship with Charity and how difficult it is.

Lawrence stated, ” “Nobody really knows what’s going on between Charity and Mackenzie, do they? This includes them; their relationship is so deliciously volatile that it could change at any moment.

“Emma [Charity] has been incredible; she consistently brings her A-game and is possibly one of the least egotistical actors I’ve ever worked with.
