Emmerdale twist as Manpreet Sharma orders Charles Anderson’s death after secret exposed?

EMMERDALE’S Manpreet Sharma has discovered a secret that her on-again, off-again lover Charles Anderson had been keeping hidden from her, and as her rage grows, she may seek help from her serial killer sister Meena Jutla.

Since escaping Meena’s (Paige Sandhu) evil clutches with her life barely intact, Manpreet (played by Rebecca Sarker) has been laying up in hospital in recent Emmerdale scenes. Her ordeal on the ITV soap didn’t end there, as Charles (Kevin Mathurin) accidentally ran her over while searching for her in the dark after learning about her sister’s psychotic tendencies. Manpreet accepted the vicar’s apologies during Friday night’s episode, but her initial reaction was horror, so could she be keeping a poker face, waiting for the right moment to exact her revenge?

Charles also apologized to his on/off lover for not believing her about the text messages Ethan Anderson (Emile John) had allegedly received from his mother now that the secret was out in the open.

Meena was the one who concocted this heinous plot, and when her sister began to turn on her just before Christmas, the village villain blamed her for the entire nightmare.

Because Manpreet had previously lied to the vicar, he was hesitant to support her and believe she was being used as a pawn in the killer’s psychotic game.

When Charles went to apologise for the umpteenth time, Manpreet chimed in from her hospital bed as she said: “No, Charles.

“Hey, you don’t need to be sorry. Put it this way: if you hadn’t run me over, Meena would have got to me and I’d be dead anyway.”

The villager went on to express her gratitude to the vicar, saying that he had been keeping an eye out for her ever since, and that his presence at her bedside had meant the world to her.

Despite the fact that she appears to have forgiven her on-again, off-again lover, Manpreet is cut from the same cloth as her sister.

She may not be as eager to commit murder as she is to avenge herself, but she may be compelled to end someone’s life if she feels compelled to do so.

She will be seen returning to the village for the first time since her ordeal ended in next week’s episodes, and she will be in a very vulnerable state.

She’ll try to put her life back together, but the general practitioner will advise Charles that she should leave.

Manpreet will be reunited with Meena in the coming weeks as the villain returns to wreak havoc once more as he tries to persuade her to stay.

She is likely to want to finish the job she started with her sister, but the GP may suggest a trade when they meet face to face.

She could tell the killer how desperate she is to exact revenge on Charles and how she is struggling to keep her poker face.

Manpreet may claim that she needed to regain her strength before pursuing him, but Meena could do the job for her.

Manpreet’s sister may be overjoyed that they are teaming up for the first time to murder someone by ordering the vicar’s death.

Meena will not rest until Charles is dead and gets his comeuppance for running down her sister, so once Manpreet has gone down this path, there is no turning back.

It has been reported that the killer’s time in the village is coming to an end, but it is unclear how this will occur.

But now that her sister is gone and Charles is dead, Manpreet will have to reflect on who she has become.

She could continue to embrace more and more of her darkness knowing she shares her sibling’s innate evil instincts.

Is it possible that Manpreet will pick up where Meena left off and become the show’s next psychotic serial killer?

Rebecca, who plays Manpreet, said her character would be “horrified” to contemplate killing someone when asked about her Jutla sisters’ relationship.

The soap star said: “Manpreet knows that her sister is a pathological liar, number one, she’s betrayed Manpreet so many times.

“There was that texting fiasco with Charles, which blew Charles and Manpreet’s relationship (or potential relationship) wide open.

“She knows that her sister is capable of lying, of betrayal… but she doesn’t know she’s capable of murder and Manpreet would be absolutely horrified to even go there,” she told ITV’s Lorraine.

But, with more twists and turns in the story to come, could Manpreet follow in her sister’s footsteps and go dark?

Some viewers have noticed that Manpreet was quick to forgive her on-again, off-again lover after he ran her down and put her in the hospital again.

Grianne expressed herself as follows: “Charles doesn’t seem to waste much time, does he? Also, after everything that’s happened on #Emmerdale, Manpreet is incredibly forgiving.”

Dan added: “Wow Manpreet has forgiven Charles already. That was quick. It’s true what she said though if she didn’t get run over Meena would’ve killed her #Emmerdale.”

Itzzzo commented on the social media platform: “If I was Manpreet I wouldn’t be so kind to Charles I’d be telling him to f**k off #Emmerdale.”

Ryan shared: “If I was Manpreet I wouldn’t be so kind to Charles I’d be telling him to f**k off #Emmerdale.”
