Following Monday night’s episode of the ITV soap, EMMERDALE veteran Mandy Dingle could be on the verge of discovering Meena Jutla’s deadly secret, as she may have spotted some crucial evidence the murderer took the life of her son, Vinny Dingle.
On Monday night’s episode of Emmerdale, Mandy (Lisa Riley) was unaware that Meena (Paige Sandhu) had knocked out Vinny (Bradley Johnson) and was holding him captive in a barn outside the village. The villain of the ITV soap realized she had to get rid of the youngster after learning that Manpreet Sharma’s (Rebecca Sarker) sister was a serial killer. Could she, on the other hand, make a fatal error by making Vinny’s death appear to be an accident by leaving some evidence that only Mandy would know about?
As Meena began to convince Vinny that his days were few, he assured her that his family would soon come seeking for him and that she would be discovered.
Manpreet, who was also kidnapped, warned their captors that trackers on their phones would be able to alert their loved ones where they were.
The villain wasted no time in snatching Vinny’s from him, and she dashed back to the village to try to hide her tracks.
She snuck into the salon where Mandy was on the phone with Sam Dingle (James Hooton) telling her about his lost truck in a menacing and sleuth-like manner.
In last week’s episodes, Vinny utilized this van to follow Meena to the barn, but his mother didn’t seem too concerned about the vehicle’s departure.
She offered to freshen up Meena’s fingernails when she observed they were in need of some careful loving care.
Mandy asked her whether she had seen Vinny on her trips about the town since he hadn’t returned home the night before as the villain sat down.
The beautician was well aware that her son was frantically attempting to show his love interest, Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele), was not guilty in the death of Ben Tucker (Simon Lennon).
Mandy assumed this was the reason he had vanished, and as she returned her gaze to Meena, she inquired as to what color nail paint she preferred.
“Red, blood red,” she remarked with a sinister grin on her face but the soap veteran thought nothing else of it and got to work.
Meena got to work typing a message from her hostage describing his whereabouts, now that she had Vinny’s phone and had finished her manicure.
Mandy was overjoyed to hear from her son and learn that he had taken the missing van, but the mystery remained.
The villain was so confident in herself as she walked away, believing she had tied up all the loose ends to make Vinny’s death more convincing.
She returned to the barn and told the child how she planned to end his life while bringing in a drip for him to be hooked up to.
The alcohol in the saline bag was going to trickle into Vinny’s system all night, causing him to wake up inebriated the next morning.
Explaining her plan, Meena said: “[You’re going to have a] nice long drink and tomorrow, you will be found in your van at the wheel.
“And you’ll have crashed it because you were driving drunk and you had a calamitous accident, at least that’s what the coroner’s report will say.”
As the end credits rolled, the villain was seen priming her hostage to be injected with the fluid as he tried to push away from her.
It has not been revealed if Vinny will make it out the week alive but if Meena does go through with her plan, Vinny will be found exactly how she wanted him to be.
As the authorities try to investigate what happened, they could gather a collection of evidence as they believe foul play could be involved.
When word of Vinny’s death reaches the town, Mandy will be devastated to learn that her son died as a result of his intoxication.
When she sees the evidence the authorities have gathered, she will be furious at the possibility that someone else was involved in the crash.
She could see the vehicle keys scuffed with blood-red nail lacquer as she looked through the collection.
She might not think much of it at first, but as she reflects on the previous 24 hours, she may be able to piece the puzzle together.
Knowing Meena chose that particular nail color, she could pay the killer a visit to determine if her assumption was accurate.
When she inquires about the varnish’s condition, she will see that the nails had been scuffed, which will take the veteran to the murderous secret.
Mandy would be able to escape away from the criminal with her life if she kept her cool while playing the heartbroken mother.
She’d go immediately to the police station to tell them about her theories, and if they think there’s something to what Mandy’s saying, they may follow up on it.
With the evidence piling against Meena, it appears that her luck will run out and she will be apprehended by the cops.
Will Mandy, on the other hand, be the one to bring her down?
