Emmerdale’s Cain Dingle hit with health scare in heartbreaking twist?

Cain Dingle, a fan favorite on EMMERDALE, may face a health scare in upcoming scenes after allowing his drinking to spiral out of control.

Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) life hasn’t been easy lately, especially after his child’s mother, Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson), threatened him with legal action over Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn). ITV viewers have also watched as the mechanic’s feud with villain Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) has gotten worse in recent Emmerdale scenes. When Al meddles in Cain’s relationship with Kyle, it appears that he will spiral out of control.

The feud between Cain and Al began when the mechanic blamed Al’s son Ellis Chapman (Aaron Anthony) for his son Kyle’s hospitalization.

Cain retaliated by driving Ellis out into the middle of nowhere and leaving him to freeze.

Al thought he was getting one over on Cain when he teamed up with a brewery to buy The Woolpack at auction after the fire.

Despite not having the funds to pay for the pub, the Dingle favourite didn’t let that stop him, and he managed to outbid the businessman.

Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) came to Cain’s rescue and purchased The Woolpack.

Al was homeless and in need of a place to stay in scenes that aired last week.

Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), his love interest, came to his rescue, and Al ended up moving in with her, Amy, and Kyle.

Cain threatened Amy with full custody action after learning Al would be staying with his son.

After that, Al persuaded a distraught Amy to file a lawsuit against his rival.

When Amy threatened to sue to see their son, Cain saw sense and agreed to let her see Kyle.

Al, on the other hand, was not giving up as he tried to persuade her to continue the custody battle.

“Well, threatening him with a solicitor worked its magic,” Kerry told her.

“You could still follow through?” Al quizzed before Amy replied: “Nah, I just want things back to where things have always been.”

Al continued: “Well if you’re happy with Cain doing whatever he likes.”

Later, Al ruffled even more feathers when he gave Kyle his old phone, knowing that Cain wouldn’t like it.

If Amy goes ahead with the custody battle, Cain could be completely destroyed.

Cain eventually locks himself away from his son and girlfriend Moira in later scenes (Natalie Robb).

Moira tries to persuade Cain to visit Kyle, but when she pushes him too far, he grabs a bottle of whisky and retreats to his sofa.

Moira becomes increasingly concerned about Cain, and she is forced to take drastic measures because she fears the mechanic will injure himself.

After enlisting the assistance of Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), the barmaid successfully climbs through the window to reach Cain.

As she sits next to him and pulls out another full bottle of whisky to help him talk things over, his mood remains unchanged.

Chas is determined to persuade Cain to see reason as she lectures him, and the two even talk about happier times.

Will Chas be able to persuade Cain to see reason before he further harms himself? Or will he continue to drink alcohol in an attempt to cope with his situation?
